Gosh.
Its new year!
And to start off this brilliantly new year, Me and my (Long-time) BF (Josh - Who else?) Went round to have the BIGGEST party ever.
I know this year is going to be great.
It better be.
Because I really need the good luck.
Well, anyway, back to school I guess.
School. Most people really hate school. I used to. But thats because everyone always focuses onto the lessons and how boring, hwo tjhey'll never be popular, how the geeks are so..well, geeky..blah. Blah. Blah.
Those people annoy me, because I only focus o nthe drama that goes on at our school. Its a reilief to get into lessons,.. .Ew not really.
But theres some rumours going on around the school, and tis only the beginning of a new year.
SOme of these rumours are pathetic, like, Kate's head smashed because of a baseball accident (It was tragic really. They lost to a dog. No literally they did.)
Some are making me worried. Some like, My best friend is going off with Josh?
Well.
These cant be true.
I know they're not.
But, i'm going to scvhool anyway so theres no dodging these rumours.
"Hi!!" We all say at the same time. We, as in, Me, Charlotte, Shannon and Jazz.
"Omg I missed you!" We say even thought we saw each other at the weekened, havng the limo party at Shannons (Hah..Good times)
"Heard the rumours?" I ask
"I know they've been sayin"g Kates head was smashed." Shannon says
"Oh my god seriously?! Thats totally wrong because I know for a fact, well, not for a fact, but i've heard that she was ottaly going out fishinjg at night, why would she go fishing, well, anyway, she went out and she got trapped underneathy an icy lake. And dornwed!!" Charlotte Gabbles.
"No she got abuducted by aliens i nthe night as she drove her black land rover through dark forests of the unknown." Jazz says errily.
Everyone pauses and stares at her.
Jazz is so weird. Shes so...quiet and syas the most unusual things. I would say shes randoml bit you expect her to say this stuff.
So
She isnt random.
"That bell has gotta ring fast or im going to FREEZE!" SHannon shivers.
"Why dont you just put your coat on." I say
"Pfft! Fat chance! Have you even seen it?! Anyway i dont want it to ruin my brand new uniform. Shannon-ated!" Shan smiles.
Shannon is apprently a fashion queen. She worries the most about it.
I look at her uniformand gawp.
She's decorated her tie with thousands of rainbow coloured badges, so you cant see the tie at all.
Her shirt (which is tuckefd out,. You always have to have it tucked out. Ore your a boffin. You dont want to be a boffin. A boffin is a nerd. You get the gist dont you?) hem is covered with pink silvery thread, and she's wearing a bright pink scarf. Not any winter scarf, one of those cool, thin light ones.
We all wear scarfs, those really cool ones that are ligbht and see-through.
Charlotte wears rainbow ones, and long rainbow armwarmers.
I wear a darkish lightish blue, that has suilvery rainbow threads. On my arms I have loads of bracelts all the time. I get told off a lot but who cares?!
jAZZ WEARS A BLACK SCARF.

She scares me at times
I dont know why she hangs out with us, we do like her.

"NO!" CHarlotte randomly called out
"What?" I blink
"I forgot my phone." Charlotte cries. Literally.
Shes so forgetful charlotte. And clumsy
But all the boys fancy her anyway so shes covered.
Judst then the bell rings, and we all go inside.

Charlotte panics SO much.
"Oh! I packed it today! I swear!" Charlotte says, checking her cute new pink pursewth back leather bow.
"Found it!" Charlotte says, whiping away the tear.
Jazz suddenly shrieked
"The Aliens that abduced Kate suddenly! The gave back Charlottes phone!" Jazz exclaimed.
We all Stared she looked back like nothing happned.
Ilike Jazz. She has frizzy ligth brown hair, blueeyes and cute freckles. She is pat of our gang beause she is just. .Jazz.

We all walk into our rform rooms. Jazz, Charlotte, Amber and Shannon. Ambers boy riend.
Charlotte smirks alittle at him and gave him a p rivate wave.
He waved bacl.
Tons of people thought Charlotte was waving to her so they all waved back.
Amber giggled.
Shannon got out her phone and the teacher walked in.
Somebody's phone went off.
"Silence! Put the phone away NOW." She sapped."
"S-s-sorry Mrs. Potana."
It was George, the shy, cute guy. He was Charlottes boyfriend. Sort of, anyway.
Charlotte blew a kiss and waved cooly.
"Charlotte! There shall be no kisses and boyfriendgirlfriends in my form room!" Mrs. Potana ordered.
Charlotte stared in horror and shrugged.
Shannon winked at the group and they all threw their neon rainbow pink blue scarves over one shoulder.
Mrs. Potana sighed.
"We have a new girl joining us. Girls, Jazz, Shannon, Amber, Charlotte. Show her around." Mrs. Potana said.
"Come on in!" Mrs. Potana smiled as a girl walked in.
Everyone craned their necks to see

Jazz looked across, too. She waited and waited. But nothing happened. "..." Everybody was speechless. "Jazz, can you go outside too, please? To check on her, see what she's doing." The teacher said, taking a glance towards Jazz.

She walked out of the door, glancing across each corridor. She sighed. "If she's not here, I won't be." Sighed Jazz, walking off.

When she got to the playground, nobody was there. She rounded the corner, bumping headfirst into a teacher.

Uh-oh.

It was mrs greenfield.

"What are you doing out here, insolent child?" She snapped. But before she could yell at her more, Jazz was away and running. She jumped across the gate, not stopping to look to cross the road. She ran and ran and ran, feet sore. She ran until she reached the bus stop.

She waited.

And a bus came. It was the one that took her to her house. She jumped on, pressed down her oyster card and waited.

When it reached her stop, she ran off, and ran home.

She prayed nobody had seen her uniform and reported her.

Her parents weren't in, so she took the keys from under the latch, unlocked the door, ran up to her room and locked herself in it, sitting down on the bed.

Woo! Im at Charlottes. Charlotte is so awesome, shwe always keep you happy. And shes great for lending nice clothes, (but her dress sense altiogether isnt very good)
Charlotte leads me into her ktichen, and her mum and dad her there
"Hi mr and Mrs Curling" I smile.
Her mum is the greatest. Honestly, she is. Shes so good at cooking and stuff. And she isnt embarrasing like my mum.
Im not too keen on Charlottes dad. He keeps eyeing me up like a pervert and he totally freaks me out
Or maybe its me, im starved of Boyfriends.
Hmm..
I should really get one.

I adore Mrs. Curling. She's so curvy,with a blonde bob, red magenta shoulder shirt, jeans and boots. he carries over a plate of Pizza.
Charlotte is like Rich
Her wardrobe is.. Wow..
Her bedroom is.. Woaahh..
I wish I was her.
"So, Shannon. I hear your one of Charlottes special friends. Known each-other for ages, huh?" Mr. Curling smiled, looking into my green eyes.
He put a big overly-friendly hand onto mine, smiling.
"So, you girlies hang out in your "cribs?"" He smiled, and gave a slight chuckle.
Charlotte came in the room, and stared.
"Dad! You're embarassing Shannon!" Charlotte exclaimed as Mr. Curling quickly removed his hand.

"Come on Shannon. Let's go to mywardrobe." Charlotte insisted,
"Ok." I said, bein dragged.
I saw the wardrobe.
"Wowww! New stuff! Can I burrow these Ugg Boots? And this really cool Designer Jeans? Oooooh!! And this tank top?" I exclaimed.
"Sure, get chaned if you like." Charlotte smiled.
So I did
I came out, wavy red hair with a cool Brown headband. I wore a brown shoulder length T-shirt that exposed my shoulders, and wore designer jeans. I put on real Ugg boots.
"Wow, Charlotte this rocks!"
"Keep it. That was SO three days ago. Literally." Charlote rolled her eyes.
"Really?" I exclaimed.
"Sure. Now lets eat!"
We went into the kitchen as Charlottes dad was still eyeing me, wolf-whistling at both of us, but looking at me.

Im going on a date with Josh
So we've been going out for ages, but i still get nerves before it
And guess what?

Like i said, Shannon is the queen of fashion

"FASHION. CRISIS. 101." i cry
We have a numbr for each crisis of fashion
"Your clothes have been burnt?!" SHannon gasps
"Huh? Oh No the other one. 109?" I ask
"You have no matching socks?" SHannon says
"NO! Hang on..107"
"OOOhhh you have nothignt o wear."
"YES! Got any clothes I can lend?" I pray she says yes
"Er..well..Im at Char's" SHannon squeaks

"Ok." I croak and put down the phone.
I bretahe in and out loudly
Im known for beigna drama queen, but i need. Clothes.
I look at the time

ONLY 2 HORUS TO GO!
I cry to myself inside.

I jump onto the bed and sob into the pillow
"Amber! Im home! I got some clothes from the sh-" My mum calls up to me
"MUUUMM!" I scream and hug her "THANK YOU TAHNK YOU THANK YOU!" I grab the bags of clothes and rush upstairs
I lay the clothes o nthe bed,

My mum has got such a good fashion sense. She's only 28. She had me when she was only a teenager.
Buta nyway..
I get ready.
"You seem happy," Mum smiles when go downstairs in my new clothes
"Happy?! IM DELIRIOUS!" I shout
"Must be josh day." My dad murmurs behind the newspaper he's reading
My phone rings
"IUTS HIM" I sigh, and pick it up
"Hi josh" I tweet
"Hey sweetie." He says
My hneart melts
Oh my osh hes so perfexct. I so cant wait for our dsate, And he never cancells them.

"SOrry, im going to have to cancel our date," He says
My world has come crashing down
"W-why?" I croak
"I have stuiff to do." Then he hangs up.
I sob.
Time to go to Charlottes.

I walk over.
"House 27.."
I pass a big white mansion with a hedge that looks lke a bird.
"House 29..." I say.
I pass a pebble colourd house with modern lights and a bird in the water, with two big palm trees and fine cut grass.
"Charlotte's house!" I exclaim, running up the drive.
I ring the glass doorbell. A grand tune comes out.
Charlottes mum opens the door, lookig all clean and neat and tidy, practically sparkling.
"Hello dear! Charlotte and Shannon are upstairs."
"Thank you Mrs. Curling." I smile.
"Tea?"
"No, Thank you Mrs. Curling." I smile.
"Coffee?"
"No, Thank you Mrs. Curling." I smile.
"Alrighty." She says, walkng over to clean some more.
I walk up these crea carpet stairs, up some more, some more, and aha! I approach a door. In pink and gold glitter it says

Charlottes room.

I knock.
"Hey Charlotte!" I smile.
I hear some rustling, a book being opened and some scribbling.
I enter, as Josh and Charlotte are doing homework!
"What are you doing here? We had a date? Remember!" I exclaim.
"Yes, but Charlotte badly needed help. She told me she couldn't fail because she has been failing too much recently." Josh says.
"You would never lie to me." I said with a slight edge to my voice.
"Of course not, honey." Josh smiles.
He is just SO perfect!
"Where is Shannon?"
"On the loo."
"How is George, Charlotte?" I ask, sitting next to her and fiddling with her blonde hair.
I love Charlottes appearance. She is.. fully developed, I guess. Blonde hair wth some high-lights, dark brown eyes with mascara, a beauty mark by her full, natural red lips, and always has the right appearance.
Shannon walked in.
"Since when was Josh here?" She asked.
"He came now. I phone him. I had Maths Crisis 3." Charlotte said.
We only have Three maths crisis. Maths isn't important.
"Ooohhhh." Shannon and I say.
Josh and Charlotte giggle.

This looks wrong.
"Amber we're not doigna nything, ya know." I say jsut for good measure
"I know. Josh wouldnt do anything weird." You can hear her sob while she nervously laughs.
I wince.
Amber gets so sensitive at times.
And she always moans about how ugly she is and how pretty i am. Im really not that pretty, she is.
She has thick auburn volumized hair, its always so..perfect.
She's got curves and stuff, whereas im just..thin.
And that tanned skin.
She's jealous of my ..puppies but i'd rather have small ones and have tanned skin instead of this.
She looks great in anything, and she knows that, thats why she never bothers to dress right.
She still looks great.
And shes a good friend. And right now, i feel real guilty.
"Josh mayeb you should go." I say.
Amber is visibly relived.
"'K" He says, gets up and whisper sin my ear
"See you later tonight." He says, winks and kisses Amber's cheek before going off
I cant believe how sick he is.
I cant believe he thinkl I'd fall for that
I cant believe he thinks my heart will melt and fall inlove with him
I cant believe I jsut have.

Why can't I b ie Amber? She leads theperect life style, Why does she have tht cool hair. If I volumized my hair THAT much it would go strange because of my highlights. Even if my highlights ARE real.
I'd swap ll this to be Amber.
I stare into space for a while, brown eyes concentrating on Amber and josh from bedroom indow. Up high, I can see them walking off, hand in hand, soon his arm goes around her neck as he gives her a quick kiss.
I'm dying..

"Charlotte?"

"Charlotte!" Shannon exclaims, pink neon scarf around her new outfit.
"Oh, Shannon!" I cry, sitting on my bed.

Chapter 2: Charlotte.

"Char! I'm so sorry! I have to go!" Shannon says, checking the time and running.
"Bye!" We both say. We both point our tiny fingers at each other. It's a thing we do. Tears are streaming down me as I do it. As Shannon goes I fling myself onto my pink veiled bed, frilly, pink, white, yeah.
I dig my face into my warm powdery pillow and practically drown it. It goes wet so I need to use tissues.
1 - 5 -- 8 - 13 Tissues! For my eyes, face and nose. I look a right mess!

I quickly redo my make-up, adding some blusher.
I'm seeing Josh in 5 days for a date.
Uggh I'm so horrible.
I'm messing 'round with Ambers boyfrend..
But.. I can't help it.

Chapter 2

I am so glad to get out of that MAD HOUSE!
Im so confused
Josh was major flirting with Charlotte and she didnt do anything.
Freaky.
And why was she crying anyway?
And her dad is a pedo.
Urr.
I really dont know whetehr to be friends with her.
But i should because, well, im such a good friend.
I walk into the hallway of charlottes house

Before i know it, tears are streaming down my face.

I pick up the phone and quickly press some numbers.
The phone goes..

"Oook.." Amber says.
"You ok, Amb? You sure? You sound.. Down!" I blurted out.

"CRISIS FRIENDSHIP CRISIS! 482!" I scream.
"Uhhhrh.." Shannon says, trying to remember all of the 670 Friendship rules.

"That's 402" I add
"Ohhhhh, You broke up with your ex's friend and your friend is dating them"

"Oh, Oh! Your bored and have been hung up on." Shannon FINALLY says
"Look, i'm reallllllly sorry. I have to go. x x x, Jazzy." Shannon says, and she hangs up

I try to let the time pass by by painting my nails but it's only 8:12 pm. I paint each one differently
In the end I have a rainbow sparkly hand, ready for tomorrow. I straighten my hair, brush my teeth, brush my straight hair, wash my face, paint my toes and get my shool stuff ready. I even get out my neon scarf, badges, buttons, and my cool jacket.
I'm ready for school.
Uh-oh. It's SERIOUSLY late.
I go to bed and turn off the light.
Tommorow will be.. Greeeat...

I soon fall asleep, head comfoterbly on the pillow.

Josh is my boyfriend it must've been
some family thing.
Yeaah..
I wake up, brushing my thick auburn hir. I spray it and volumise it.
Thats better.
I whack on some power, blusher, a tiny bit of mascara and lip balm for my lips. I apply some Spongebob Squarepants badges and stickers and about 7 bangles on each hand. I put in my colour hadband, which is blue with a bow on. I put on my blue neon scarf and blue wristbands. I whack onsome tights.
As I walk to school I see Charlotte.
Oh, god.. She's so pretty! How comes she's so developed!
I walk up to her.
"Hey Char."
Oh god, Oh god, Oh god. She is so pretty.
She has straight blond hair wit darker brown high-lights, ad really pretty fringe. She has dark eyes, but a nice sort of brown. Usually with brown eyes you can't see the pupil. But you can with Charlotte. It's like, light brownish hazel type.
Charlotte has that new Xtra Mascara 4 U. It makes her lashes look SO real, she has a powdered face which covers all her spots, even though she only has two. Her beauty mark is below her lip, her red, natura full lips. The beauty mark makes her look french. Her nose is perfect, and so are her eyes.
I smile at her.
"Char! I love your nails!" I smile. Mine only have some blue on. Charlotte has put a different colour on each nail for the ranbow effect. she has rainbow badges, a dark brown hair band and rainbow wristbands. All the guys were staring at us.
"Why can't I be you?" I exclaimed.
"What?" Charlotte said, laughing.
"I wish I was you. Your naturally pretty. I have to whack on mnakeup to look nice." Charlotte said
"Oh that isn't true!"
Shannon came along, with her beautiful red hair and green eyes. Her hair was layered. Jazz soon came along.
"Jazz!" We all exclaimed. She didn't look weird any more. Her hair was straightened, she didn't have a freckle on her face, by using foundation and her lips were redder then Charlottes. She had a pink head band, pink scarf, pink nails, pink wristband and her tights made her look sexy.
"Thanks!" Jazz smirked as we all came up to her.
Even some guys were yelling.
"'Sup Jazz!"
"Jazz, You look AWESOME."
"Oh my gosh! The Weirdo turned into a hottie Over night!"
Jazz blushed.
George came up to Charlotte as they kissed. I winced slightly as Josh came over to me and held hands.
George went in to kiss Charlotte.
"George.. I'm sorry.." Charlotte said. She ran into the form room.
Early
And sobbed.
"I'll go. Noone else come. She was about to tell me this last night." Shannon said, dodging right into the form room.
"Date. Tomorrow. Josh. Kiss. Homework." Charlotte sobbed.
"What?"
"I Kissed Josh yesterday, I couldn't help it. He was so hott! He loves me Shannon, and I love him. But I'm a terrible friend because he is AMBERS Boyfriend. PLEASE don't tell." Charlotte hissed.
"Ok, Ok.. Wipe those tears." Shannon said.
"You didn't smudge your mascara" Shannon added.
Shannon and Charlotte came back, arm over arm. Shannon had quick glances at Josh, who was red with embarassment.
Shannon must've known know. He was probably thinking.
"George. I have to spli upwith you.." Charlotte exclaied, Tears streaming down her face.
"Why?" George said. He was shy, quiet and nice. He was also extremley H-O-T-T. But now he was fuming.
"What?" We all said.
"George, please. You're making it Much.. Harder." Charlotte said.
George stalked off with Charlotte spouting fountains.
"There, There Char." Josh said.
I fet alittle weird. And.. Jealous? Josh doesn't do that with me!
"Come on Char, it'll be better. It's ok." We were all cooing.
"It won't, It won't!" Charlotte kept weeping.
"Uh-oh. The Girls in tears." Mrs. Potana said.
We all growled. and Sneered at her.

I cant believe this.
I cant.

Its so totally obvious why she broke up with George.
And the way Josh soothed her and not me..

Unless im just being paranoid.
I look at the teacher.
"Whats wrong here then? You lot been bullying poor Charlotte?" Mrs. Potana says
What!
"What! No, she's just broken up with her boyfriend shes been with for like, two years and its so heartbreaking see." I gabble
Mrs Potana shookl her head.
"Bullying is not tolrated in this school. Charlotte, you should sit i the english room on your own." Mrs Potana smiles
"No its ok." Charlotte sniffs
"Josh, why dont you look after her?" Mrs Potana says
"...Ok fine." Charlotte goes off with josh

What this stupid, dumb, bitch of a teacher has just done.
I try to explain to the teacher, but whats the use? They know nothign!
I burst into tears
"Tearfs will get you nowh-" Mrs Potana said
"OH SHUT UP! JUST SHUT UP AND LEAVE ME ALONE!" I scream i nher face, and run inside
I run past the english room, then pause.
I look inside and they're hugging.
Im burning up inside, this all going totally wrong.
This cant be happening. But it is.
I keep running down the corridoor crying, even when im late for lesson, i jsut run around the school trying to sort out thing.
This totally sucks bedause then my brand new mascara is totally ruined.
I say totally too totally much.

I follow Charlotte and Josh, They've gone into a room.
It's blurghy from the outside, so I step inside. I literally creeped inside.
No sight of them!
I creep, I see another door. I see two figures from the window of the door.
Ok.
Spy mode.
I open the door pushing my tiny finger.
I hear kissing, and hide behind a book case.
Teachers Kissing?
I shiver. I can't go now. This is risking a detention.
I don't care.
I turn my head and see..
Oh god. Oh God. Oh God.
Charlotte is kissing Josh!
Tears start streaming down my face.
"JOSH." I scream.
Charlotte goes red and stares at me.
Josh does too.
I feel weird.. I faint on the floor..

I gasp.
Shes fainted!
"Quick go get a teacher!" I shout to Josh, and he nods, frozen for a few seconds before running off
I check her pulse.
Shes still bvreathing ands stuff.
I cant believe i mthe cause for this. I've made her faint. And she might not make it.

The ambulence are outside, and i blink. Im in class, so everyone runs up to the window.
And do aswell, and then a figure is being pulled in a strecher..
...

I feel sick, and poush everyone and rush outside.
Tje teacher calls out to me but i dont care, this is Amber we're talking about


I run to the ambulence, and cry.
"Hows amber? Is she ok? Shes goingn to be fine, right?" I sob
A paramedic looks over to me
"Shes going to be fi..." He cuts off. "Shannon? Is that you?"
Its Mr Curling.
Is it me or is he stalking me
"Yeah." I mumble

I heard Jazz sneeze. We heard footsteps. It must've been the man.
"We haven't got long, Idiot!" Amber called to me.
I opened out my bag in a hurry. I untyed the rope, and tied it to the chimney.
"This bit is steep. Jazz is in this part of the house." Shannon said, climbing up first. I climbed second, and held amber up.
"Window!" Shannon exclaimed, putting a rope onto it and pulling.
It opened out slowly.
"Wait! Put this on." I said, passing out scarves.
We put them on.
Amber has her auburn hair in a pony-tail, Shannon had her Red hair into one, I had my blonde hair into one. Shannon had a pink head band, Scarf, wristband, bracelets and badges. I had Rainbow. Amber had black.
I jumped through first.
