My 'Magical' birthday

Okay.. It's in August. So what?? Better plan ahead!

As my friend wants to do a Harry Potter marathon for just a general sleepover. (We're all harry potter freaks) I had a great spark and thought, 'Merlin's beard!' I'll have a Harry Potter costume Party.
I asked my mum and she said she thought it a good idea. But she thought the costume I'd want would be far expensive.

This is what we'd do:

Read the books together aloud, reading the character's lines we dressed up as/ Then discuss.

We watch all 5 movies and discuss, running comentary.

We eat and pig out.

We RP in my garden.

That'sabout it.

Of course I dressup as Ron.
My other friend's a big Ginny supporter like I am of Ron. The other is A harry supporter. I don't know about the other two.

the stuff I need:

Knitted sweater. (Could ask Grandma to do it. She knits stuff for me)

Ripped jeans. (Easy peasy. With mine)

Muddy converse. (CHECK!)

Wand. (Yeah... that'll be expensive on it's own. If I want the proper clay wand. I'll beg my mum for it for my birthday xD)

Ginger hair. (Uhm yeah.. Bout' that.... I need hair dye. Curse my sandy blonde hair!)

Pet rat. (I'll get a cuddly toy xD)

UPDATE:

checked the official Harry Potter collectors items mag that came with the order of the Phoenix DVD and it said the blinking gryffindor outfit costed a fourtune.
I put on my biggest puppy eyes and said it would be my main present and she said:

"Those eyes don't work anymore!"
That was it. xD

Easy wand maker:

1. Get a stick from your yard, make sure it's extremely tough, though skinny enough to fit in your hand.

2. Get a knife, (PARENTAL SUPERVISION NEEDED!)

3. Take off extra branches from the stick.

4. Carve stick into the shape of a wand.

3. Sandpaper stick

4. Paint all of stick black

5. (THIS IS IF YOU HAVE TIME AND IF YOU WANT TO) Get a golden paint pen

6. Use paintpen in fancy handwriting Ron or Sam's name into it.

7. HAVE AT IT! =D

xD They are. But it is in the collectors editions they are clay.
Ron's wand is apparently the heaviest so I want to feel the pain of having to whip the wand out and a do a quick spell.
