Book 6: Powers, Friendship, and Love

Dwayne had finished the report.
His mouth was slightly dry as he slowly turned the TV off.
Lumes..was dead?
He sighed.
"A sad, sad loss."
He then began to lift weights again, every lift was for Lumes.

A wind blew her up. She looked up. "Aleee?" She got blown down to town. Face to face.
With a girl her age.
A girl she knew.

[Kiki is the grey haired, the girl is brown haired]
They stared at each other.
"I...Know you.." The other girl said in fluent english. She looked at her. "No...She has red hair...Not grey..." The girl said, and began to walk away. "WAIT!" Kiki BlackFire cried, running after me. "Ayaka Aimi! You're my old friend! I'm Kiki! Friendship bracelets!" She grabbed her hand, and stared. They both had friendship bracelets. "See?!" Kiki pointed to their wrists.

Dwayne got up.
This aint' real/
he thought, going to the bathroom, splashing cold water in his face.
It is.
He sighed and walked downstairs to where Uncle Frank sat.
"Heya Dwayne."
Dwayne shrugged and sat beside Uncle Frank on the sofa.
"I know how you feel, I just wanna break free of the coop."
Dwayne nodded.

"Meet the other's! There's bladewell, and there's this guy Dwayne who went to my old school. I know his adress." She beamed, smiling. She took Kiki BlackFire's hand, and they ran down the street. They came to a neat looking white house, and Ayaka knocked on the door.

They all heard a knock at the door.
"Dwayne sweetie, can you get it for me?"
He heard mum yell.
Dwayne got ratehr angry at the 'sweetie' bit. But he obeyed.
He wore his own clothes again. (Sig clothes) his hair was showered and he smelt of Boss.
Dwayne opened the door, leaning against the doorframe, as if to say, and you are?
He flipped his hair out of his dark black unblinking eyes.

"SQUEEEEE! HUBBIIIIIIIII!" Ayaka Aimi ran up to him. "Remember me? From your old school?! AYAKA!!"

[Except it's not raining and she had brown hair and she's not crying]
Kiki BlackFire just stared and watched. "I found a new elemental! Isn't it wooonderfuuuul?!"

Dwayne was rathe rhsocked by the hug and he violently pulled away, stepping inside, as if about to close the door.
he then stopped and seemed to let her come in.
He sniffed slightly, in his bored fashion.

"Look! It's her! My friend! I talked to you about her, remember?!" Ayaka cried. Kiki BlackFire stepped in with her. Kiki waved a little. "My....parents died. So I came away. And fell off a cliff...Bit of a long story. And what's all this about elemental--" "LET ME INVITE BLADEWELL!" Ayaka got her cell phone out, and called him. Almost instantly, there was a ring at the doorbell.

Bladewell:

Dwayne slammed the door in the face of the guy.
He got his notepad out.
No others.
he clearly wrote and sighed, slamming the pad down.
dwyane shook his head.
I don't remember.
He wrote, running upstairs to do weight lifting.
Uncle Frank was asleep, mum was cooking and Olive was asleep and Dad was working.
Dwayne took his T-shirt off and he put his finger less gloves off, lying on the bench and adding one more weight on, taking it off the stand to attempt to lift.

"Oi!" Ayaka Aimi blew the door open. "Come in." Bladewell did, and was mad. His face had blazed up. "Watch it, pal!" He growled, stepping in. "We need to talk.." Ayaka had already ran up to Dwaynes room. Bladewell followed along. Kiki stayed. "Trust me, I never seen Ayaka this hyped. I don't even know who this guy bladewell is...." She walked upstairs, slowly.

Dwayne sighed and added another day onto the calander and crossed it out.
he lifted more weights and did situps.
He began to lift five weights up, gasping for breath, chest heaving every time.

Ayaka quickly rushed down, and pulled him up. "Oi! No slacking, Dwayne!" She carried him to his room.

Dwayne twisted and turned.
He was already in his room, how odd.
But he hated being handled in this way with his top off.. It felt horrid.
He narrowed his eyes.

"Alright. Let's introduce ourselfs. This here is the semi naked Dwayne. Oh.. OH." Ayaka just realised. Kiki realised it a long time ago, and didn't want to tell. She giggled, and burst out into laughter. Bladewell just blinked. Ayaka quickly rushed him out, got one of his tops, threw it at him, and pushed him back into the room. "He DOES look kind of buff without his top on--" Bladewell slapped her. "Ouuuch!" She rubbed her cheek. "ANYWAY..."

Dwayne blinked helplessly. The family were useless... He needed proper help from this loony bunch!
He put his white T-shirt on and blinked, keeping a straight face though he wanted to chuckle at how odd they looked.
dwayne looked at them all.
They stared back.

What was going on?

He then began to cough, more than likely because he had been out in the cold.
He sniffed and sighed, not feeling too good but he continued to stare at them.

"Alright!" Ayaka clapped her hands. "Let's get down to business!"

Dwayne began to back away slightly.
What sort of buisness?

He wondered.

"Right...I'm Ayaka Aimi." She pointed to herself.

"I have the power of wind. I love the sky and all creatures, and I love flowy dresses. I'm hyper. When I transform I look like this.." She produced an image.

Kiki and Bladewell clapped a little.

dwayen got up to leave, he began to run into the bathroom, locking himself inside, panicking.

"Oi! Freeload--" Ayaka Aimi had began to stand up, when Kiki stood up and placed a hand over her mouth. Ayaka struggled. "Mmph! Mmmmmmph! MM!" She struggled. "Stay." Kiki BlackFire said. Ayaka Aimi sat down. Kiki BlackFire ran to the bathroom. She tried the door. It was shut. "Hey. They aint done yet! Come out!" She stood outside.

Dwayne shook his head, getting some loo paper and writing on it with his pocket biro.
He slid the paper under the door.
They're freaks... With powers..... I only socialise with normal people.

"Why can't you talk? And hey, I don't have 'powers'. Are you using the toilet or summit?"

Dwayne rolled his eyes.
He wrote some more,

1.Because I can't remember how to.
2. Whatever.
3.No.

He slid it under again.

Kiki BlackFire's eyes glinted. She bashed open the door, and dragged him out by the wrist. She pushed him into the room. "Cellotape his wrists down, Ayaka." She tied his feet up instead. "Right...This is Bladewell." BladeWell stood up. "Ayaka's my girlfriend. I have the powers of water....Um." He held up a transformed image of himself.

"That's me."

Dwayne began to tembled, as if having a seizure.
He looked angry, his mouth set.
He flipped his fringe over his eyes.
Forming words with his mouth.
