E.S.M.D. Book One - The Auditions.

Kitty didnt tell her mum about ehr school.
She did tell her mum:

"Omg its a dance school!"
"Best in the country, Mum! Hint hint!"
"THEY HAVE TAP DANCES!"
"Performances!"
"Pie!"

bUT SHE DIDNT TELL HER One little thing.
It wasnt little.
At all. It was a huge missing piece to the jigsaw that Kiotty didnt tell her mum about the Elemantary and Secondary Magic acts of Dance.
And she never did, even at the auditions to get in.


Kitty waited i nthe jhuge line into the school, in the warm sun. She saw people whispering and talking, some cool as a cucumber, others.....Well.

She sighed, and waved her mum off.
Soon she finally got inside the great big amrble school into the hall.
Everyone was looking throug hthe windows, so did kitty.

"So, welcome! What dance do you specialize in?" Said the judges.
"I do ballroom dancing." The girl replied, she was tall and pretty with blonde hair.
"What area of powers? Elementary? Secondary?"
"Im sorry to say Tertiary."
"This is a strict Ele and Seco magic school only, Anya." The judges said
"I know, but im desperate." Anya replied
"...What type of power?"
"Ghosts. Sparkle. Transformation." Anya said
"Go ahead."

Anya was ballroom dancing with no one it seemed. Suddenly, glowing, golden sparkling figures came fro mthe roof, dancing adn twirling. A figure appeared with Anya dancing wit her.
Sparkles covered her, twirling her until she was wearinga beautiful red dress.
Everyonbe was dancing

"Show us some attacks." One judge said.
"Attacks?" Anyas froze, all the sparkling dust of the figures fell to the ground, Anya out of her dress into normal cloyhes
"....Im sorry anya, you are not through."


Anya ran off crying
"Oh my gosh." Kitty whispered
"Hey there!"
Kitty tuned around to see a dark brown haired, tanned skin tall girl
"Hi?"
"You're auditioning, huh?" She asked
"Um..yeah...Woah that girl was great. If she cant get through, then I cant." Kitty sighed.
"Na, she didnt get throug hbecause she didnt have attacks." The girl said
"Who are you?"
"What dance do you do?" The girl said, dodging ehr question.
"Tap."
"....Oh. RIGHT. oK" The girl hid her snigger. "I do salsa!"

The salsa girl's turn was next
"Welcome! What dance?"
"Salsa!" The girl said
"Name:
"Elkectra."
"Power type?"
"Elemantry, Fire." Electra said
"Ok, off you go."
Salsa music started, as it got quicker and loiuder, suddenly electra shouted out.
"SALSA! De Amigo!" She shouted when she hovered into the area, maracas twirling around her, firey circles. She was engulphed in fire, and when the fire turned down, she was dressed salsa like
Hair tied in a pony tail, a long, gypsy styled red skirt and a orange top
She dancing fantasicly, shaking her hips moving her arms.
"Attacks, Please." The judges said
"Sure!"
"Maraca Senior Fire!" She held out her hands, as out of fire, maracas appeared hovering over her palms. She grabbed them and threw them, firey explosions on the ground
"Ok! Thank you thats enough! You are through!"

"Congrats!" Kitty smiled
"Thank you! Good luck! Hopefully I'll be seeing you next term!" Electra winked.

Kitty walked in.
"Dance." Judges called out to her
"Tap." she said
She heard people sniggered
"Pfft! Im more powerful than you think!" She wanted to shout. She didnt
"Power."
"Secondary. Illusion."
"Off you go."
"Tap! IlluCard play!" She shouted, when the room went dark and a spotlight shone on her.
Suddenly her outfit transformed.
She was wearing a swimsuit like grey outfit, and a long black coat with tail ends.
She wore tights, and a tophat. Also a long, magic stick.
She tapped her feet. The judges saw monsters in the dark.
Everyone laughed, how weak was she
"Show more!" The judge said
Kitty knew that,. She was jsut getting ready
"CARD PLAY! HUH!: She shotuedc, and danced wuickly around the room, when she spun her long stick and a spiral of darkness appreard
"Approach! A-dummeh!" She pointed her stick at a dummy
The spiral hit the dummy. The dummy exploded
"Woooaah!" Everyone whispers.
"Thats enough! Fantastic! YOU'RE IN!" The judges said
"Thanks!": kITTY RAN OFF
"Shoouldnt you be earth?" A boy said
"...Earth. You want to see earth, huih?" Kitty growled
"Huh..? Oh! No! NO! DONT WAIT-"
Too late
Kitty banged her foot onto the ground, and everyone was pushed back, a mini earth quake.
She licked her fingers and her outfit was back to normal.

Electrica smirked, as she stood outside the gates of the tiny school. Once you stepped in, and went through the portals you got to the main hall.
Kitty came running outside, a red scroll and some writing on, clutched in her hand.
"You got in?" Elec said.
"Yes!" Kitty said, smiling in her old school uniform.
"What.. Class/Form?" Elec said.
"Ummhm.. The Tappes." Kitty smiled weakly.
"Me too." Elec said.
"Really?" Kitty smiled.
"Yep."
A dark haired girl came out, and 5 minutes later a boy came out. Another girl came out with long, blonde hair.
Blonde one = spare character.
"Heya, I'm Luoisia. You call me Lu." She smiled. "I'm in the Tappes. I hate anyone in The Sallisa's." She said, as if the word was poison.
"I hate the Srets." Elec sighed. She looked at these two girls.

One had really long hair, and a really pretty face. She had a ultra short miniskirt, tons of make-up, and she was really slim.

The other, was just like the other one, but with a black bob, green eyes and a even shorter Dress.

Elec snorted in Disgust, as Kitty stared.

*Two monhs later. *

Elec walked into the school, and muttered her common room word,
"Dancey" She said, sniggering at the word.

A electric blue portal came out, as she sat.
She was two hours early.
She read some books on the shelves on her bright purple/blue common room. She had her legs up on the stool and had dibs on a bunk bed, where you could see the view of the sea.
She was writing some notes down, as her quill magically appeared.

In year one, you can:

- Do some powerful attacks/damage.
- Take 18 classes i nthe week.
- Do 4 hour revision in a week.
- Fly
- Attend 3 clubs.
-Stay up at 9:30pm.

In year two you can:

-Do all of the year one things.
- Have a animal, so that when you do your power, you turn half/animal.
- Attend 4 clubs
- Fly faster.
-Attend 20 classes.
- Make a basic potion
- Preform SOME magic general skills.
- 6 hour revision.
- Stay up at 10:00pm/

She paused, as someone walked in.

Jack, a handsome boy of the age of 17, was hanging upside down on a bench, watching the people queue up to audition for the dance school.
Jack, a popular, boy, with black, curly, hair, and handsome, green, eyes, thin, and quite tall and lanky, laughed, watching his friend's legs.
"Any of you thinking of going to that gay school?"
Frank laughed.
"Nah! I'd probably come out the other end with a boyfriend."
They all laughed loudly.
"Jack? You know.. Let's play dare or dare."
Jack sighed, and rolled his eyes.
"Okay. Who do you dare me to kiss?"
His group snickered and sniggered.
"I dare you... To enroll for the dance school."
Jack flipped up quickly, looking calm, but inside, he felt ill.
Sign up for that gay school? No...Way!
"I'll do it."
He said, against his will.
Jack heard the whoops and cheers of encouragement being thrown his way, and he walked to the end of the queue.
He tried to make himself look as burly as possible, showing his muscles as he rolled his sleeves up.
A male judge, boredly surveyed the queue, and when he saw this macho, young boy, he fell insantly, in love.
The judge whistled, and called over the queue organiser.
"Yes?"
"I want you to bring that boy over, and let him skip ahead."
The organiser nodded twice and walked over to Jack, explaining to him he was to move ahead.
Jack was shocked, they wanted him? HIM?
He put his fists on his hips and posed, looking as manly as possible.
"What's your name> Boy?"
"Jack.. Jack Davies."
He said in a macho voice, deep, and not so like him.
"Jack.. You look absolutely darling! Let me measure you!"
The judge got up, and brought out a tape measure.
Everyone's eyes were on Jack, and Jack began to feel that maybe he should quit while he is ahead.
He jumped and reared away as the tapmeasure was put to his leg and up, and around his chest and stomach, and shoulder to tip.
"Davies. You are absolutely darling handsome! You are in!"
He slapped a scroll into Jack's weak hand, and steered him off.
Jack's eyes were wide, and he was frozen, Frank and the gang going up to him.
"How did it go?"
Jerry took the scroll from JAck's hand and undid the ribbon, rolling it out and reading it.
"Jack's...In...."

People. Cheering.

Crowded around two figures.

Kitty and Dana.

Dance off.

"KITTY! KITTY!:" SOme people chanted
"GO, GO GO DANA! " other screamed

Dana was streedancxing, doing the worm.
Suddenly the ground moved like a wave
Kitty trippesd over
"OOOOOH!" The crowed went hush
"Thats. It." Kitty growled
She twilred her stick wquickly, the spiral about to hit Dana
"KITTY PAT! NO!" The etacher shouted.
"Fine" Kitty sighed

Elec styrode over to the fight when the teacher went.
"Hi dana." She said dully.
"Think your so tough?" Dana growled.
"Oooooh." The crowd cheered.
Elec kept herself hidden. Then produced a maraca out of her hand.
She powered up quickly, wearing a short, cute tight red salsa dress. She shook her hip as a ring of fire shook around Dana. She stepped back from Dana. She was powerless inside the ring.

Jack's eyes widened.
"What the hell?"
He looked up at the school.
"How did I get here? Oh crap."
Jack remembered it.
He was in his bedroom, lying down, reading a book, when all of a sudden, the male judge had walked in and began to pack everything into a black suitcase.
Jack had been powerless, and was forced to join him, a letter left for his mum. Typed and smelling of roses and chocolate.

And that's where he was now.

Jack, wearing his Sex Pistols T-shirt, hair touseled and tangled, eyes darting about the place.
The instructer grabbed his hand and dragged him along, to another building.
"This is the Drama dance sector. You will absolutely adore it here, darling!"
Jack rolled his eyes, to an invisible camera, and continued on, walking down hallways and through doors, until he reached a door, numbered 23.
"Here, is your group."
There were sillhouettes through the sheet of glass.
The door opened, and JAck reeled back, only to be pushed in.
"Pierre, Johnathan, Charles, Edward, Edmund, Francis, Jacob, Marcus, Craigan, Andrew, Paul, Mark--"
And the judge pointed to each, leotarded boy in the room.
Jack did not listen, but was shrinking back and back as all eyes were apon him.
THey looked at him with a soft, alienated, gaze, almost lovingly.

"BREAK IT UP!" The teacher shouted
"Whatever!" Dana said.
"Its Magic Atttacks after break! Save it til then! Ai yai yai!"

"Tap! Illu-DOWN!" Kitty powered down.

"AND STAY IN THERE!" HER teacher shouted.
kitty sighed.

"Auditions were 2 months ago, Celestie"
Celestie stood in the hall, standing straight, hands laidinfront of her. Silent
"..Well, you're a water/light/fire based ballerina, thats new. Off you go."
sUDDENLY the room went dark. A blue tinted spotlight shone on Celestie. The floor turned into water.

Blue sparkles came from the spotlight around celecstie, covering her clothes. She closed her eyes and danced ballet, standing on her toes, twirling delicatly.
Suddenly the music went louder, electric guitars. The room turned red, fire flying up into the air. The sparkles on her outfit burst out, showing a light blue tutu.
She twirlinbg her hand, a white ribbon coming out of nowhere. She waved it about, water following the robbon. She dropped it into the water, Dancing and dancing, quicker and quicker, twirling, stomping, spalshing water aabout. She quickly oushed out her arm which was curved, and a big blue light laser hit the judgfes. The judges ducked.
Her short, black hair was soaked.
Then everything calmed down. She twilred slowly.
She flicked her leg in the air, as a laser shot out again

Celestie -

She collapses into the water, her tutu turning into glitter, the glitter dropping of and floating into the water. The water drained away, the light went back to normal

The judges were stunned. Themost powerful thing they've ever seen
"...You're in!" they shouted.


Celestie walked into the portal, seeing students walking everywhere.
It was a big place, and celestie took a deep breath.

Elec finished her homework on the study of dance, and the Art/History of Dance.
She scribbled a rude word on another girls table and laid back, thin, pale arms stretching out. Nobody dared to confront her.
Her brown, scruffy and curly hair complimented her greyish blue eyes. She had a sort of attitude, you could see; with her body language. She was wearing a white jackets, unzipped so you could see her Rolling Stones jacket. She wore tight skinny jeans with a golden belt. She wore Pebble-stone colour UGG boots.
She was writing on the wall, a rude poem while form members came in.
Kitty, Celestie, Jack, Mystie, Ellen, Hazel, Luke, David, Harry, Joe, Bethany, George and Oliver.
She didn't know, but a teacher had walked in, a frail, ginger haired scottish woman with a heavy accent.

...Mrs. Yullers.

"Electra! Wut' on 'arth r' you doooin?'" She said in a horrified voice.
Electra froze.
"Come weeth me instantlee." She yelled. As she walked, people clapped with respect.
"Yoo fink it's funneh doo yah?" She yelled behind them.
They clapped lightly. As soon as the door was shut, there was a excited chatter amoungst them.

Powered up -- outside the acadamy.

Jack was sitting in a chair, while all the others got up and began to get ready to rehearse.
Jack was meant to be rehearsing right now, but he had not bothered.
He wanted out.
Jack folded his arms, sulking, pouting, glowering, he wanted to go home, and be with his friends, and see that special girl he loved.
But now, he had started a new life, and all for some stupid dare.
"Aren't you going to join them?"
The instructor asked.
"No."
Was the simple, and deep, reply back.
"And why is that?"
The instructor got down on one knee, in front of Jack, and tried to peer through the curls to the face he thought, was perfect for drama dance.
"I'm not meant to be here."
"And why is that?"
That same question annoyed Jack, it was as if the instructor already knew. He felt anger towards this teacher. He wished he were dead.
"My friends dared me."
He said through gritted teeth, eyes still lowered, looking anywhere but at the instructor.
"Well then that's your fault."
He said in a jolly voice.
"MY FAULT???! MY FAULT??? YOU CAN'T GO BACK ON DARES!!!"
Jack yelled loudly in his face. The teacher managed to still look calm, but all the other boys, Pierre, Mark, and so on, were clutching each other, a look of terror on their perfect faces.
It satisfied Jack greatly.
Jack shot up, the instructor telling him repeatedly to be quiet and calm down, and stay where he is.
Jack flat out refused, and shouted many abusive things to these boys, even pushing one down, as he headed to the door.
Jack opened the door, and shouted one last filthy word to them, before he slammed it behind himself, sending vibrations through the floor.
He was gone.
"Now... Let's practice."
The instructor said, as if nothing had happened. The panick-stricken boys nodded, while the instructor called for the security unit.

Elec came back outside the acadamy.
It was break, another hour untill the acadamy actually sdtarted She was back, from being punished.
She still had a bright face. Dark hair, curls gently lifted up into a pony-tail.
The pony tail was held up by a diamond clip, Dark eyes, with brown make-up on, white jacket, cream top on, with a yellow fabric star.
Above it, had black italic writing that said; "Shining Star".
She had put lipgloss on her full lips, so it shimmered like her top.
There was no where to sit.
She panicked.
What if people think i'm lonely? Ack!
There was nobody but other forms. Strets, Sallisas, Ballies and Dancers. No Tappes were to be found.
Except for one, who wore a badge. A dark curly haired boy.
Electra zipped to him immediately. Her jeans were tight, but gave away her full figure.
"Hi." she said softly.
She panicked once more.
What if my perfume is too strong?
Suddenly, something glittered. Only girls have it; Gems in their belly buttons. For the really special, chosen girls they have gems.
Wtf is that red star Gem?
Elec panicked one last time.
"Hey." the boy said softly.
"Am I wearing too much perfume?" Elec said, biting her red painted nails.

Celestie walked in the hall. And sighed, she didfn t know who to sit with. *Over time her hair will grow real long *
Her short messy black hair had a blue ribbon styled as a alice band.
Her fringe covered parts of her bright sliver and blue eyes.
Electra was talking to that new guy.
Celestie didnt even know what form she was in. She just clutched onto a silver heart shaped heavy locket.
She didnt know where she got it. It didnt even open. She just had it since she can remember. At the childrens home, they said her mother gave it to her before she died
(Ya know those rockin pearlz lockets? Inside them are the jems. My one is aquamarine, its like diamond but has a tint of blue. ..Technically its light blue xP)
At night, before celestie went to bed, the locket glowed. Not the actual locket, something inside. The blue light seeped through the hindges, all around the heart.

Celestie stood there, clutched her ,locket with one hand, and holding her bag infront of her in the other.

Jack raised his head.
"Don't ask me. I haven't got a sense of smell."
He said in a small voice.
Was this girl normal?

He looked down at the badge he wore, not knowing he was wearing it on his black-hooded jumper.
Jack ripped it off and threw it to the floor, looking down at the badge, and not at the girl.
"Who are you?"
He asked her.
"I, I am Jack... And I'm not meant to be here."
He mumbled, running a hand through the curls, that bounced back.
He knew that the instructor had sent for people to come and get him.
He had seen them about, looking for him.
Maybe this girl was just a delay. She was helping them.
Jack opened his green eyes wide and looked behind himself, just to check once. Nope. They weren't around.
But many students were, for break.

"Oh. I'm Elec." Elec said. The bell suddenly rung, and she ran.
Although, she did'nt make it far. She tripped.
Automatically, she stretched out her hands, but.. She had been caught!
She looked up.
It was a Stret boy, with cute styled brown hair. There was also a girl.
It was the girl with the miniskirt, that she made fun of.
"Are you, like, ok?" She asked.
Elec nodded as they helped her up.
She felt guilty and greatful.
"Thanks." elec smiled.
"No problem." The really pretty girl said, she winked and went away.
"This is yours." The boy said, picking up her diary and giving it to her.
"I'M Tom." He smiled.
Elec smiled too.
"I'm Electra."

"Ok, today we are going against the Tappes in a dance battle."

Everyone cheered except for Celestie. She stayed quiet.

"Now, give it all you got! Ok? No just pretty dance moves, FULL PWOER!"

Everyone cheered again, and whooped as they went into the hall.

Jack heard the bell, and was slightly annoyed.
They would find him easier, now.
The girl ran off, and he sighed.
Alone again, and vunerable.
Until two heavy hands were placed on his shoulder.
Jack instinctively jerked and twisted, to see who it was, but the hands guided him.
"Who...Are...You???" He said, knowing he had to do what they say, somehow, the hands felt like weights.. Weights that could smash a pretty boy's face in.
"Strict orders to send you to the Ballies."
Jack couldn't help snorting at the name.
"Fair deal."
He said, knowing he'd just have to sit around and watch the goodie goodies dance.
At least they wanted to be there.
Jack felt lonely.
Even with these hands on his shoulder that knocked onto a door.
The teacher opened and frowned at Jack.
"Strict orders to make him sit in the corner."
"Well.. Okay then."
The hands let go and the lady took hold of his wrist, dragging him across the place.
It was an all girl's class. Strange.
He thought he'd perversely enjoy this.
Jack was put into a hard-backed chair in the corner, a good view of the hall, and the hall, a good view of him.
He slumped in the chair, looking through his black curls at them, sulking almost.

Elec smirked, as she was going to face the Ballies.
She practiced in her form-room.
"Hey, that guy Frank has been moved to the Ballies."
"His name is Jack. I think." Another girl said.
"Arn;t the Ballies like, gay boys?"
"Shut up." Elec said to Helen.
Kitty and Celestie were doing pretty well, twirling and stepping.
Elec came in.
"Salsa, Amigos!" She yelled, tapping her feet.
People sniggered.
Elec smirked, waving her hand about. Her rose appeared.
She span, slowly Tangoing with a imaginary partner as her dress appeared. 75 Cm short, with some Red rippled Ribbons either side of her black dress. High heels, black appeared on her converses. Her long, brunette hair turned into a wavy black, as a rose was planted in it. She shook her hip as a fire ring, unharming her evolved around her. the music turned into a Tango tune. At the end, the Song stopped and she put her toe out, clapping.
Esta and Celestie were her partners. Esta did the Cha-Cha.
Esta grunted, ugly permanent frown and brown eyes.
"Hmph." She said, butting herself and pushing Cel.
"Cele!" Elec called to Celestie.
Esta made a vomit sound.
Elec winked at Cel.
"Harm her?" Elec smirked.

1- Maraca bombs -- Throws the maraca and they explode
2 - Salsa Shake. She twists and shakes her hip, as a fire ring expands around the opponent. The opponent/people are powerless inside the ring. The ring fades after a next attack is made.
3 - Salsa throw. She turns, Salsa's, points her toe, then thrusts her arm
forward, throwing the rose as the rose turns into a fire-ball.
4 - My most powerful move, Rose Ribbon. She spins around, Ribbon twisting in her hand. She throws the rose as stwo long fire-ribbons extend from it. It burns/harms the opponent.

"First up, Celestie and Dana."


Dana and celestie got up and looked at each other
"What dance?" Dana shouted.
"Ballet." Celestie said quietly
Dana laughed
"Ballet!? Oh im gonna nail you!"

The music started.
"CEL GO!" Said the teacher.

She held onto her locket. The light went low. The floor turned to water, Cel was standing on water.
She danced and twilred and danced and twirled, Then jumped, water turning to fire, the background exploded.

She turned i nthe air, letting out a shock of water hitting Dana.
Dana did the worm, and the whole floor shook.
"Ballay Hop." She did a hop and dodged the attackl.

She flicked her leg into the air, a shock of water coming out and hitting dana.
Dana let out a yell and hit the floor.
The music went slower and Celesite clamed down her tiwlring.
The fire turned to water
The lights turned to blue
She twirled very slowly, then slowly brought her leg in the air
She danced. Like a delicate statue of china, dana watched mezmerized.
Standing pn her toes the whole time.
She brought down an arm, her eyes closed, and twirled again.
Wherever her fingers moved, water followed.
Dana was hypnotized. Literally.
"Ballay Ribbon." Celestie whispered, at the roof of the hall seemed gone, the sky turned pitch black stars looking down on Celestie.
She moved her hand in an S shape, a ribbon coming out of nowehere.
She twirled and twirled and twirled, faster and faster, a whirlpool of water was around her, like a cocoon.
She stopped twirligna dn the whirlpool quickly sped off and hit dana again.
Then celestie stopped. Her hair was blowing as if in water, her eyes glowing bright blue, you couldnt see her pupils.
She had her arms above her head, fingers touching (Ya knowm, a ballay move)
And standing on her tiptoe. She lifted her leg twirling, then suddenly brought down her arms and ashco kwave threw throug hthe water like a wave, and hit dana.
She kicked her leg over and over again, ballet like, and more and more heavy lasered hot water came at dana hittinh hrt against the wall
Dana fell.
"KO!"

Everyone who was watching gasped.
Celestie turned to normal, exhausted.
She was more powerful than anyone thought.

Can I be in Ballies then?

Elec got up, patting Celesties shoulder as she passed her.
"Elec V. Esta." The teacher said as everyone cheered for Esta.
Elec had already powered up.
"That girl cant do anything!" someone yelled at Elec
Elec twisted her rose, and in a few minutes two red ribbons appeared. She thrust them at Esta, like whips. Esta's permanent frown turned into a worried look as Esta had been knocked out.
"K.O" Elec smirked.
Everyone cheered for Elec
