Book 7, Teenage Kicks

Kikina smiled. She got out a white board, and drew
"How are you?" Kikina then mouthed it to Dwayne lots of times, and taught him the sounds of it.

Dwayne opened his mouth.
"H....."
He began..
"O...W.."
"How a."
He couldn't sound the 're'
He was stuck.
"Are."
He felt rather babyish. But it would help!
"You."
He was fine with the you.
"How are you?"
He repeated.

Kikina smiled.
"Once you got the last words goind, you can answer everything else!" Kikina smiled.
"Now , repeat after me." Kikina smiled.
"How are you? I am fine, thanks!" Kikina said.

"How are you... I...Iym... Fyne thaynks."
He said, trying his hardest with his slightly cracked voice which would vary the pitch.

Kikina smiled, clapping once more.
"You teaching old Flattop how to talk?" Olive poked her head through, smiling. Dwayne scowled.
"You'll pay for that!" He said. Kikina gaped.
"Dwayne! You spoke without me helping you!" Kikina smiled.
"Heh." Olive said, quickly running away.
Kikina revealled a long alphabet list.
"Read this, you'll get the hang of it!" Kikina smiled.

Dwayne took the list from her.
"Ah ey iy oh yew."
He repeated, blinking.
He then looked at Kikina.

Kikina smiled, folding her arms as if she has made the most big succes in the world.
"You'll get the hang of it." She smiled.

Dwayne nodded, smiling.
She was makinjg him a normal boy... And he liked it.
Dwayne dropped the list down and hugged her tightly.
"Thanks."
He said, his voice cracking because he has not spoken in ages.

Kikina smiled, and kissed Dwayne.
"Don;t worry. I'm supporting you." Kikina smiled.

Dwyane smiled, tilting his head sideways and kissed her back.
He smirked, sliding off the bed and getting his fingeless gloves on, began to punch the punching back.

Kikina watched with amazement.
His so strong..
"Yiour so strong!" Kikina said outloud

Dwayne was wearing his combat trousers and his usual white T-shirt with Kurt Kobain on it.
He turned around to look at Kikina and smirked, winking at her in a joking way.
He then went over to his weights and added the sixth one on.
this would be heavy.
He spat on his hands, lay on the bench and grunted, looking relaxed as he lifted it up, the whole thing trembling.

Kikina gaped the whole way through. Suddenly Olive came in.
"Go away, Olive." Kikina asked.
"No. By the way, did you know my brother actually uses fake, plastic weights?!" Olive said.
Kikina rolled her eyes.

Dwayne rolled his eyes, he got up ad picked one of the weights up, passing it to Olive.
It was real alright.

Olive sniffed. She lifted the weights up, adding 2 more, making an eighth one. She struggled at first, but then lifted it up fully, above her head. She put it back down.

Dwayne rolled his eyes and took them off her, sliding them across the poles again.
He pushed her out and closed the door, giving her a dirty glare.
Dwayne then turned around and smiled almost immediately at Kikina.
He smirked and sat down on the bed.
He then stood up, not thinking of privacy and he took his T-shirt off, taking another out of the clauset. It was a blue one that said, 'outta control' with a car on it.
He sat on the bed and smirked.

Kikina smiled. She'd never been this comftorble around Dwayne before.

Dwayne attempted the list again, he picke dit up and narrowed his eyes.
"Cat....."
He shrugged.
"Dog. Mouse... Zebr.............Zeee...Zabre."
he said zebra wrongly.
But gave up.
He flipped his hair, putting the list down.
"Tea?"
He asked, as in does she want to stay for dinner because the rest of the family are on holiday.

Kikina nodded. She smiled.
"Okay!" She said.

LOOK OUT FOR BOOK EIGHT; KIKINA AND DWAYNE?!

Dwayne got up and mimed to her to wait here while he cooked dinner.
Dwayne ran downstairs, Olive busy watching TV in her bedroom on her new TV.
Dwayne opened the fridge.
Pizza?
He shrugged and nodded, getting the pizza out.
Dwayne opened hte oven door and put it in, setting the tempreture and time on the timer, closing the door.
He got plates and drinks ready of lemonade.
Dwayne ran upstairs again and got out his skipping rope.
He began to skip, crossing arms sometimes, as if Kikina wasn't there.

It was 15 minutes before the Pizza. Dwayne was laying his head down on the couch, as he was tired from all the skipping.



Dwayne was Grinning.
"What are YOU so happy about?" Kikina came over, sitting by him, poking him gently and playfully in the stomach.

Dwayne shrugged slightly, lying on his BED. (XD)
He flinched slightly as she poked him.
It wasn't nothing.. it was something.
He got up, hearing the timer and he ran downstairs, skipping the last two.
He got it out of the oven and divided it up.
"OLIVE!"
He yelled upstairs.
"KIKI!"
He yelled, for he had been taught both names.
He put two slices on each plate and put them on a place mat.
He'd done pretty well.

"You've done pretty well." Kikina smiled.
"Oh, and extra credit for the calling us down part." Kikina said, as she stopped to Kiss Dwayne on the lips, then sit back down again.
"Iiiiiii Hopppppe Iiiiiii Haaaave aaaaaa chickeeeen pizza!!!!!" Olive yelled.

Dwayne smiled slightly, feeling proud.
He then sat down, waiting to hear the stomping Olive.
She realised it was just cheese and she began to shriek about.
Dwayne rolled his eyes and began to bake another pizza, just for her.

Soon they were all eating, Dwayne ate silently... As usual, Olive was boasting to kikina about being a model.
