Book 7, Teenage Kicks

"I'm going to be the most famous model on earth one day!" Olive boasted, flicking her hair.
Kikina nodded politley to Olive, but she kept on looking at Dwayne as if she was saying

Dwayne rolled his eyes, smirking.
He drank his leomonade in one, surprisingly not burping as people usually did.
He sighed, sitting back, full up and content, as if he had a belly to pat.
He was stick thin and tall.

Kikina smiled.
"Thank you for that lovely dinner." Kikina smiled. She kissed Dwayne on the lips, but for a long period of time, and went downstairs to go back to her house. She closed the door gently, and looked at the roses in their front garden.

Dwayne tore down the stairs like a jet himself and opened the door, even though it was cold.
He was panting and he quickly snapped off a rose for her.
"Thanks..."
He said in his slightly cracked, but yet smooth voice.
He held it out, hearing Olive shrieking from upstairs.

Kikina took the rose, and wrapped her arms gently round Dwaynes neck.
She kissed him, even though her curls were covering her eyes.

Dwayne kissed back, romantically and silkily smooth.
He let her go, though it felt like one peice of his heart had gone with her, he rubbed his arm with his hand and trudged back indoors.

Smiled as she trod home with her lacy parosol, as rain started to pour. Kikina didn't care though, and went home.

Dwayne walked inside, sighing.
The first thing he heard was Olive shrieking.
He rolled his eyes from behind his shades.
But this was different shrieking......... More like, terror.
Dwayne tore up the stairs, with wide eyes.
He ran to her room and sighed.
She had tripped over one of her barbie dolls and she was bleeding from the knee... Quite a deep gash.
"IT HURTTTTTTTSSSSSSSS!"
Dwayne sighed and took Olive's hand in his, truding downstairs.
He made her sit on the sofa, he got some antisceptic, letting ehr grip onto his hand as if she were having a baby.
He then put a plaster on it and packed the first aid kit away, sitting on the sofa next to her.
She suddenly hugged him, he hugged her back.
"I miss mummy, uncle Frank and daddy."
Dwayne sighed and hugged her back close to him, until she began to drool on his shirt.

Kikina couldn't get to sleep that night. She laid in her bed, in her solid silver night gown.

Dwayne couldn't get to sleep.

Maybe it was because Olive was taking up the whole sofa.. or maybe it was the screaming thought in his head..
Dwayne decided to call kikina... Even IF IT WAS early in the morning.
He rang.
"Hey... How are you?"
He left that as a message, then hung up, sitting with Olive again, letting her cling to him like a monkey.

Kikina immediatly picked up the phone, after hearing a message.
"Hi Dwayne! I'm fine thanks.." Kikina smiled.

Dwayne couldn't speak more... He just said,
"tomorow....Sleep?"
He sounded ETish.
His usual smooth voice was sometimes high and low.

Kikina giggled through the phone, and then yawned..
"Okay." Kikina said, about to put the phone down.
"Bye!" Kikina smiled, putting the phone down.
Kikina yawned, and went back for a 4 hours sleep.

Dwayne clung onto the phone still, even when she'd hung up.
An hour later he fell asleep. next to olive...


He ran upstairs, putting on his yellow 'Jesus was wrong' shirt.
He brushed his hair and gelled it, having a shower before all this but after his workout.
He threw on some brown combat trousers and black and red shoes.
He spraye dLynx on, ready for her to come.
He heard Olive playing barbies in the next room, he rolled his eyes.

Kikina pulled up her porsh (Pinka had a Porsh too! ;D) On Dwaynes drive, and went to go to the white door. She banged onto the door knocker.

Dwayne opened the door and smiled.
He stepped aside, letting her through.
he ahdn't bothered to put his shades on, so Olive was acting all sweet and lovey dovey.
He smiled and sat on the sofa, patting the space next to himself.

Kikina smiled, and sat down next to Dwayne. It was Just Her and Dway--
"DWAYNEEEEE!! ARE YOU GOING TO LEAVE YOUR GIRLFRIEND TO PLAY BARBIES WITH ME OR DO KISSY KISSY ALL DAY!?" Olive screamed.

Dwayne sighed in an irritated way.
He got up, seeing a flustered looking Olive come with two barbies in her hands.
"Yesterday."
He mumbled.
"DON'T GIVE ME THAT RUBBISH! JUST CAUSE' YOU CAN'T SPEAK DOESN'T LET YOU OFF!"
Dwayne pushed her slightly, rolling his eyes at Kikina.
He wrote on a pad she could invite a friend.
She shrieked and smiled, jumping about in her crop top and skirt.
He sighed as she ran down the street to Molly's house.
Finally, alone time!
Dwayne sat on the sofa again, putting an arm around Kikina.

Kikina blushed, and put her arm around Dwayne aswell.
Dwayne, and her.

Dwayne nuzzled into her hair, kissing her on the cheek.
He then suddenly jumped and fell over the back of the sofa as his parents and uncle came back with Olive.
"HEY!!! Mum got tickets for the pageant! For you and your girlyfriend!"
They all began to talk, it was so annoying, Dwayne took two tickets, gave one to kikina and dragged her upstairs, locking the door and bolting it.
he sighed and put his ticket on his windowsill.
"Come?"
He asked her.

Kikina smiled, and nodded

Dwayne knew it was tomorow and he sighed.
Better that she was staying over!
She had arrive dlate so, it was bedtime.
Olive had already gone.
Dwayne took his shoes and socks off and his top, throwing them into a pile.
Two campbeds were in his room now.
He got into bed, kissing Kikina on the cheek, Frank already asleep.
"Night."
He mumbled, turning the lamp off.
Dwayne began to fidget...
He didn't want to go out....He felt....Ignored....
Locked up in his silent mind......

Kikina smiled in the dark.
"Night." Kikina said.
After about half an hour, she still couldn't get to sleep. she whipped out her mobile phone, to shine a light.
"Want to go to the cinema?" Kikina smiled.

Dwayne winced slightly at the bright light.
He sighed and shook his head.
He needed all the rest he can get for tomorow.
Dwayne closed his eyes and soon fell asleep.

Dwayne woke up to hear the song of his sister shrieking. He yawned and sighed, rubbing at his eyes and finally sat up in bed.
"EVERYBODY START GETTING READY!"
Came a yell from his mother.
Dwayne woke up Kikina who used his bathroom and got changed first.
Dwayne got changed into his white T-shirt and brown trousers with red and black laceups.
He gelled his hair slightly and sprayed some lynx on.
It was time.

They all clambered into the minivan and soon they were off, kikina teaching Dwayne words, Mum and dad int eh front with the map, Olive listening to music and uncle Frank staring out the window.
It was only a short drive so they had arrived soonish.
Everyone got out, locked the car and walked off, Olive chattering nonsense.
Dad signed in and they all sat in their seats, ready.
The curtain went up and a man came on stage.
"This, is the little miss sunshine beauty pageant, here are our beautiful contestants!"
He started to reel off the names. The little girls coming onto the stage.
Dwayne wa sbored already, Kikina had an arm around him, uncle Frank next to him, then mum, then dad.
"AAAND Olive Hoover, aged 10."
Mum and dad clapped enthusiastically, Dwayne and uncle Frank didn't bother.
"Now... We judge them on talent. So first up, number one, Chico Leridiaz."
Dwayne sank lower in his seat, bored by the little divas.
"It'll be all over soon."
uncle Frank whispered to him.
"NEXT UP! OLIVE HOOVER!"
Olive came on, normal... When the music started, Dwayne's eyes widened, as well as the whole family's... As she began to do... A strange dance. Rather too...X rated.

Uncle Frank swore as they started leaving.
"I'll kill em'!"
He stood up, beginning to clap.
Then dad began, then mum.
Dwayne slowly got up and began to clap, in a rather tense way, Kikina rather disturbed by all this.
One of the judges came past.
"WHat is your daughter doing?!!"
Dad replied.
"She's kickin' ass."
"Go get, right now!"
The host got up. He got onto the stage, Olive oblivious to him.
"Come on sweetie... Time to go..."
Olive kept on dancing.
"Don't touch her", muttered dad, getting ready to move.
"HEY!"
Dad ran onto the stage, pushing at the man. He began to attack the jman, Olive shrieking.
Uncle Framk stood up, running onto the stage.
Dwayne hesitated, then followed, looking at Kikina for a brief moment.
Mum stayed down, rather worried by the men in the family.
Dwayne stayed at the edge, hesitating and moving back slightly.
The guy ran off, and the lady yelled at dad.
"Get her off the stage, right now! NOW!"
Dad nodded, rather sad to ruin his daughter's fun.
He got up.
"Come on sweetie."
She continued, running circles around hm.
Suddenly, the dad began to dance.
Dwayne backed off slightly.
A minute later Uncle Frank came up.
Dwayne trusted Uncle Frank, so in clear view of everyone he stumbled onto the stage, mum laughing from the audience, looking at Kikina.

Dwayne stood at the back, but soon began to smirk, dancing his all in a rather, odd dance. Putting his boday into action.
More people began to leave, disgusted.

Kikina looked confused alittle bit. She shook her head and stood near the stage. She thought of what to do.
She hopped onto the stage, standing inbetween Dwayne and Olive, and started dancing too. Thats when the `rough` looking people started whistling. She ignored it, and danced next to Dwayne.
