they looked at him in an odd way.
"But Dwayne, you can barely speak."

He took some music paper from his pocket, giving them the music notes to play.
He got up to the muicrophone, coughing slightly, eh tapped it.

"Man I feel sorry for him when he embarrasses himself."
Gwen whispered to Kikina.

He finished, sweating like mad he sat back down at the piano, taking three tablets.Gwen and Kikina's mouths hung open. He waited for them to start, sitting at the piano, even though he thought he would not be needed.


Looking across the room in that way as he stood at the microphone before testing it.

Gwen blinked

"Bu. I. Didnt. Think Uhhh..." She stammered.

"ANyway...My go." Gwen said. She picked up her bass guitar, and played smoothly on it with ease. She took the microphone and started to sing.

Dwayne played piano softly in the background, eyes cast downwards at the white keys.
The golden piano was making his eyes start to hurt as the light shined into them.
He added some backing singing into the piano mic sometimes.

When the song would end he would give thumbs up to Gwen, taking a few pills and then smiling at his good job.
He did play a few bum notes sometimes. But he would quickly cover them up.

And she strummed her guitar like Revoloution off fo the Beatles.

Dwayne didn't play without Kikina's permission.
But he did do backing vocals using the piano mic.

Kikina smiled; wondering why Dwayne wasn't playing on her Solid Gold Piano.

"Don't you like it?" Kikina asked.

Dwayne rubbed at his eyes.
"B...Right"
He admitted, rubbing at his eyes.
He then smiled too, brushing his fringe out of his eyes.
"W...E....Go...T..o.....My..Ho..U..s..e.. For.... Dinn...Er?"
He asked them.
Dwayne took some pills, obvious he was slightly tense.

Kikina nodded, and smiled.

At the end of the rehursal Dwayne got up, he waited for the other two before proveeding out of the hall's doors.
"W..E..W.A.Lk."
He said, putting his pills in his pockets.
He waited for the hall to be locked up and he walked on, holding kikina's hand and Kikina linked her arm around Gwen's arm.
"He stood tall and lanky above GWEN, he looked down at GWEN, smiling, his blackish brown eyes smiling slightly.
He trod along the pavement, finally reaching his house.
He saw his mum immediately.
She seemed...... Happy......... Bags seemed to be packed....
The whole familie's bags?!!
"Hello, Dwayne, Sweetie...... Sorry not to warn you but, we're going on holiday! to France."
Dwayne's eyes widened.
"B--"
Was all he got to say. His mum laughed.
"Dwayne... You're not coming! You get to look after the house while we're gone. Rent pizza, whatever. We don't care, just leave some money for us. The money you get to spend is on the kitchen counter."
Uncle Frank and dad appeared beside his mum. Olive was singing and listening to her walkman.
A taxi pulled up behind Dwayne, his hand loosing grip on Kikina's.
"Come on guys!"
They all got their bags and put them in the trunk.
Then, they got in...

Gone... Before Dwayne's eyes.
Dwayne felt Gwen's and Kikina's eyes apon him.
His eyes narrowed, bottom lip seeming to tremble for a second.
He then pretended nothing happened and he smiled.
But as he went in through the open door his smile seemed to falter... And fail.... It disapeared, hate and rage named his face.
He went to the kitchen and went through the cupboards, getting glasses and plates, throwing them to the floor with smashes.
They broke into glass peices.
Dwayne then threw any objects to the floor.
He looked up at the two girls, standing in the doorway... Staring.
He stared at them like a scared rabbit caught in headlights..Wild...Wide..Eyes.
He continued to smash until he slid down the fridge into a sitting position, hands on head as he sat in the glass, staring at the floor.
"Y..ou..C.an.....Go"

Kikina sighed. She stood still, on the white tiles.
"Dwayne, I have a special machine my dad made. It can mutate people; give them powers. My powers last for a whole month. In that whole month, i'm making a super-hero team." Kikina smiled. Dwayne looked sternly at Kikina.
Kikina stood back and muttered some words. A red laser shot out of her hands, hovered above the plates and soon all of them were fixed.
Kikina stood there, and smiled.

(SWEARING)
Dwayne glared at Kikina.
"I....Am..Al..Rea...Dy... A FREAK!"
He yelled, not bothering to take his pills.
"MUTANTS! Fucking....F.....REAKS!"
He yelled, suddenly standing up.
"I DON'T NEED ANY MORE POWERS......"
He said a full sentance.
"I AM A FUCKING FREAK...THAT'S WHY MY FUCKING FAMILY DIDN'T FUCKING SEND ME ON HOLIDAY WITH THEM!"
He noticed GWen trembling.
Kikina stood calmly.
"I'll...Ma..Ake pi..zza."
He said in a cold voice, lowering his eyes to his clenched fists.
He walked over to the fridge, saying nothing.
He then took a deep pan pizza from it. Cheese with mushrooms and pepper.
He put it in the oven, throwing the wrapping in the bin.
He got out three plates, breathing heavily.
He got out three glasses.
"Wh....A..t....W...Ill...You...Ta..ke?"
He asked, filling a glass up with lemonade.
Dwayne leaned against the work surface, by accidrnt spilling the glass.
"SHIT! THIS IS WHAT MY FUCKING FAMILY DOES! THEY FUCKING SET ME UP!"
He yelled suddenly, slamming the glass down, filling it again.
His cheeks were alarmingly red.
"S...SO?"
He asked them.

Kikina instantly sat on the floor, back agaisnt the wall. She started crying. Gwen took a few steps back.

Dwayne looked at her crying on the kitchen floor.
He bit at his bottom lip.
Dwayne tried to ignore her, filling up the two other glasses with lemonade.
"Lem.on..a..d..e.."
He said in a quiet, almost whispery voice.
Dwayne felt uneasy, he looked up at Gwen, then looked down at the floor.
Dwayne sighed.
He went and sat by Kikina.
"So..rry."
He said, looking at the floor.
He felt bad... The timer went for the pizzas so he got up and walked ove rto the oven, bending over and pulling the oven door open.
He did it without oven gloves, but he managed to keep quiet while he burnt his hands on the pan.
Dwayne put it down, cutting the pizza in half with a pizza wheel and into thirds.
He gave them each an equal slice and left the rest in the freezer, above Kikina.
His hands were raw red and rough from the burns.
He didn't care.
Dwayne put the knives and forks on the table, and the drinks, and the plates with pizza.
He stood in the doorway, looking at the two of them, eyes narrowed.
"Din..Ner......Rea..Dy"
He said, waiting, looking at Kikina.

Kikina still sat there, miserable on the floor. She still sat there, crying.

Dwayne let Gwen into the dining room. When she was gone he sighed and sat down next to her, taking five tablets, prooving how stressed he was.
"S..Sorry."
He said, putting an arm around her.
"F...Fa...Mily.... Issues."
He pulled her to him.

Kikina smiled. Sort of, and hugged Dwayne back.

Dwayne got up and smiled slightly.
"D...Dinner"
He said, walking out, leaving her alone.
He sat down at the table, opposite Gwen.
He stayed quiet and drank some of his drink, eating slowly.

Gwen drank her water while looking around. When she finished she spoke.

"Im re-signing to singer and percussion. But not just drums, i'll play other percussion intruments." she said

"Ok" Kikina said, slightly quiet. Her eyes were a bit red from crying.

Gwen twiddled her thumbs.

She was worried about Kikina. She was also worried about Dwayne. AFter what happened earlier, what could he do about just getting a glass of water?


Living off pizza wasnt going to help.

"Dwayne, I'll help you." Gwen said. The she noticed it didnt come out very good


"E-er. I mean. With cooking and stuff." Gwen said. "At the Cafe I help out cooking, Not proper meals, but some are better than living off pizza for a week or so."
She waited for the answer.

Dwayne looked up when he heard this, almost about to get another slice into his mouth.
He put it down, closed his mouth and folded his arms across his chest, almost glaring at Gwen.
He said nothing, but slowly looked around the room, as if in deep thought.
He felt their stares apon him.
".....Fi..Ne."
He said clearly, looking at his shoes from under the table.
He sighed and got up, stomping to his room.
He didn't bother to close his door, but he sat on his bed, closing his eyes, arms above head, reflecting.

"Did I upset him?" Gwen whispered

Kikina shrugged.

Dwayne rubbed at his eyes with his hands and got up.
He looke dat the dust-collecting weights and sighed.
I still have a chance in the airforce jet team.
He thought, smiling.
And that was Kikina.....
He felt a sudden sharp pain.
Guilt...
He quickly ran downstairs, running into the dining room.
He hugged Kikina and kissed her on the cheek, kneeling beside her.
"SORRY!"
He said in a desperate shriek, voice breaking.
He then got up and went to Gwen, hugging her tightly like Kikina.
"SORRY!"
He bellowed.
He then kneeled in front of the two of them. (As they sat side by side)
Hands clasped together, eyes wide, mouth slightly opn.
"SORRY!"
He yelled again and again until his voice cracked repeatedly.

Kikina stood up slightly.
"About the cooking; I can.. LEt me see what I can do." Kikina smiled.
Kikina opened her phone.
"Ah, Oui. Bonjour Vince, Salut! Vous faire a des objections venir à où je suis ; je n'ai pas à vous dire. Utiliser votre communicater. Apporter les vêtements de dessinateur. Unixsex vêt, s'il vous plaît. Merci. Au revoir." Kikina said in a french accent. (Vince, Hi! Do you mind coming over to where I am; I don't have to tell you. Use your communicater. "I'll order 3 maids." Kikina smiled.

He got a pillow, screamed into it as muffled as possible.
He chucked it to the floor and slammed his head on the wall.

He thought, stopping and lying on his bed, looking at the wall hanging of Nietzche.
