Book 2: PROMS!

Selena smiled.
"You look awesome!" She said, dusting his suit with her red finger nails.
"Well, I ordered a limo.." She said, as a limo drove up, and opened.
"Stop and Jasmine and Jess's house, Hughan." Selena said to the driver, who nodded.
"Thank you for the compliments." Selena said.
"And, I don't mind sitting in a car! Anything for my date." Selena smirked.
Maybe not anything..
"I wonder how Jasmine and Jess are, And looking!" Selena said, as Jasmine and David drew up, into the limo. They sat in the row behind, as Jess and James would sit in the row infront.
Selena gave Piers's and a squeeze.
"You.. You arn't scared, Are you?" Selena said.
"Oh.. I forgot you were a.. Robot." Selena said.
"It must be really.. Hard for you.." She sighed. "I wonder how I could help in anyway? Don't be afraid to stop by." Selena smirked, Giving him a quick hug, as she held his hand in the limo.
You never know if boys ARE afraid, do you?

Piers nodded gently as he got into the car beside her.
"Yes. They are both handsome and beautiful. As many must be for a prom, am I correct?"
He blinked as she squeezed his hand.
Why did humans do that?
Meaning pain.. Or comfort?
He didn't know.
Piers didn't react, and just sat there, staring ahead.
"No. I am not scared. I was not programmed like that..."
He said quietly.
"And I prefer the term, cyborg. I am not entirely a tin can."
He smiled at this, and squeezed her hand back.
"Hard for me?"
He tilted his head to one side.
"I just can't feel what some humans feel. I am made of a corpse. I cannot eat or drink things. I do not sleep. I charge. I will never age. Just my battery switches off and I switch off."
He narrowed his eyes, looking sad for a few seconds, until he turned it into a thoughtful look.
"Thankyou. I promise I will. I will confide in you with my secrets."
He whispered this.
"Yet Yasmine doesn't know I am a robot."

Selena felt like crying, but she didn't want to ruin the day, the prom, the evening, the date OR her make-up!
She symptaheticly looked at Piers.
She gave him a weak smile, and grinned at him.
"You poor thing.." Selena said, as that is what she felt she could.

"So, Jas. Can I call you Jassy?" David joked, fiddling with Jasmines hair, but Jasmine didn't complain.
"I know your secret." He said, gently pulling on her fake blonde curls.
"..How?" Jasmine said.
"..It's Obvious!" David smirked.
"It is?" Jasmine sighed.
She squeezed Davids hand, and put a finger to her lip.

Selena sighed, looking at Piers.
She lent in, to kiss him, to show a sympathetic gesture.

Piers noticed her sad look.
He smiled back at her.
"I am not poor. I am about as normal as you are. Maybe more. As I am made of Earth's metals.
He sniffed.
Piers then saw Selena lean in and he blinked, looking very confused.
He took off his hat and put it in his lap, meaning not to be rude, as sitting in a car with a hat on was quite rude.
"I am very sorry. I forgot to take my hat off."
He sounded funny when he said that.
Selena still advanced.
"Er.... Dad says he was worried the first day he sent and programmed me. I am easy to break or hack into. Don't tell anyone."
He now realised she was pretty close to his face.
And he knew what she was trying to do.
He sighed and kissed her very gently on the cheek, as if she were his mother, hands clasped in his lap as he sat up straight. Composed and neat.
He looked alienated.

Callie came in again, yasmine groaned.
"Here we go again" She sighed.

Callie went on stage, and randomly started singing
The headteacher announced, 'Our special guest band!"

YUasmine stood there, mouth wide open
Callie fisnished, smiling innocently. Then she spoke into the mic. 'I also challenge my BEst Friend, Yasmine to do a singing battle with me."

The spotlight shone on Yasmine

Piers stepped out of the limo as they arrived, leading her out too.
"Right, women's courtesy. You go in first."
Selena oblieged and exited the car, and walked up to the school.
As she did, Piers slapped a hand to the back of his neck.
Selena looked back, in a worried way, seeing his look of a grimace in pain on his face.
"Piers.. Are you okay?"
Piers took his hand away and nodded.
"Yeah... Just a common fly."
He said, following her in.

Well.. The prom started off fine. Pictures. the same old. He avoided the punch, she drank it.
She went off with some other guys and he sat down, observing them.
Until...
Piers's left eye twitched.
It seemed to go red for a few seconds, before returning to blue.
Piers suddenly jolted up to stand, arms outstretched, teeth bared, an insane look on his face.
He was struggling. It was evident.
Hs eyes were turning blue and then red.
Until.
It went plain red.
Someone had hacked in.
Alan came up to him, with his nerdy date.
"Dude, are you okay?"
Piers said nothing, but picked UP Alan by the front of his shirt, and threw him at the table where the punch bowl was.
There was a loud smash, heads turned and the music stopped.
"FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!"
everyone chanted.
Piers winced, arms outstretched, and he went to the nearest person, Alan, and put his hands on his shoulders.
There was an electric noise and he collapsed to the floor, still.
There were screams, as the lights went out, and many buzzes.
It was pitch black, an evil smile on Piers's face.
He then suddenly stood there, arms raised, hat fell off his curls.
And an electric surge made all lights go out in the town.
He was using all electricity to kill them all.
A large wind rushed around him, covering him in an electric blue forcefield. His shirt was undone, veins pulsing red illuminus.
He was gonna kill them all.

The girls were screaming
The boys were laughing.
Selena and Yasmine looked at each other across the room, then they both looked at Piers.
"I...I gotta go." Selena said, walking to yAS
Selena grabbed yas's arm
"Wait hang on--" Yasmine waved goodbye.


"HA HA HA!" Piers laughed loudly "YOU ALL DIE!"
Yasmine screamed.
"Stop screaming sheesh." Piers suddenly flew out a electric arm out of his back, heading for yasmine.
Yasmine screamed and set it on fire.
Piers hissed.
"Yasmine! You did it again!" Selena shouted.
"It dosent matter! Get everyone out of here, its gonna get messy!" She screamed. Selena slowly hovered in the air, hert eyes covered by her fringe, her skin going ghost white.
"Selena!?" Yasmine made a firewall.
(HA. FIREWALL. GET IT!?)

Dark, wafting smoke slowly creeped into the air.
"Akra, este que pue., olevere, ma veste." She whispered,in a strange accent.
Everyone stared at selena
"Out." Selena whispered.
(I think I'll take over selena for kiha)
Everyone stood by the door
"OUT!" Selena shouted, holding out her arm, almost zombie like. You couldnt see her eyes. Her dress was just draped as she hovered in the air.
She actually looked like a zombie.
A ripple of black smoke ran through the wooden floors, pushing everyone through the doors.
She closed the doors.
"Que maka lama, Shay, Qwa-ta!" Selena said, colour flushing abck into her skin, her eyes glowing as you could now see them.
She fell onto the floor

"..What the heck was that." Yasmine blinked.
