Casper's dark life...

Chibiusa had gone back to normal form. She rolled over. "Okazuki pan-bread..." She mumbled, partly english, partly japanese. She muttered something again. "Phone's on the table.." She rolled over. "Clap-clap.."

Casper raised one eyebrow and he took his phone from his pocket instead.
He dialled her number. She always answered.
But not this time, she didn't answer and he came through to her answerng machine.
"Uhh. It's Casper, everything's alright... Please call back..."
He rung off, worried.
Seconds later his mobile buzzed.
He picked it up.
"Mum??"
He asked, full of hope.
"Sorry kiddo.. No, we're not your mum, are you Casper?"
Casper blinked.
"Yes.. Why??"
"Well your mum is in hospital.. She was in a car crash. You can see her right now, but for three minutes."
Casper rung off and blinked.
"Mum??"
He shook Chibi violently.
"PLEASE WAKE UP!!! I NEED YOU TO TAKE ME TO THE HOSPITAL!!"

Chibiusa woke up, and blinked. "Morning...What time is it?" She yawned.

Casper shook her.
"HOSPITAL! NOW!!!!"
He shrieked, looking maddening.

Chibiusa screamed. "Alright! Alright!" She got her shoes on and led Casper to the bus stop.
They took the 130 to the hospital, and when they arrived, the hospital people led them to ward 13, where Casper's mother laid.

Casper was horrified, she had the full mask on. She was unconcious.
"Mum?"
He asked, knowing she wouldn't respond.
Suddenly the machine did a long beep.
"MUM!"
he cried out. Suddenly doctors and nurses flooded the room. Casper ran forward to his mum, Chibi behind.
But two mengrabbed each of his arms and hoisted him away.
"Mum!!!!!!!"
He yelled, tears flooding each cheek.
His words were choked. He felt pain.... He screamed for mum, falling down onto his knees. He sobbed and wailed.
He told everyone to go away from him, except Chibi.
He was so sad, upset. He hoped his mum would pull through....
He didn't believe she would. He cried.

Chibiusa felt his pain, and sobbed silent tears. "Now you're like me.." She mumbled.

Casper sniffed and cried still, he curled up under the seats. He cried some more, his eyes screwing up.
"I.......Wanna k..Kill someone!!"
He clenched his fists, tears running down each cheek.
It felt like his heart had snapped in two.

Chibiusa sighed. "Well, don't. You never know who could be watching." She put her arm on his shoulder.

Casper took gasping breath.
"I swear I will seek vengence on who did this! To my mum!"
His eyes flashed black for a second, then returned to it's normal oak colour.
People tried to drag him out but he refused and only shrank to the back, where cobwebs were in his hair.
He closed his eyes.
Tears fell down eachc heek. Especially when the operson came to tell him his mother had died.
he pretnded he couldn't hear him and he shrank back into the darkness, only muffled sobs heard.

Chibiusa hugged Casper and asked. "You okay? Stupid question..I know it's not nice...But you can't randomly kill people because of this! You have to get over it!"
Chibiusa shuddered a little.
"Leave him alone! He's going through a hard time!" She pulled the hands of the nearby doctors and nurses off him.
She crawled near him.
She rummaged through her pockets for a tissue, and didn't find any, so she just wiped the tears off his cheek. "I don't have a tissue...Sorry..."
She stared coldly and harshly at the person who told him his mother had died. "I think we already knew that!" She yelled.
She kissed him lightly on the cheek. "Oops!" She mumbled. "Uh...I can explain.."

Casper sniffed.
"It's okay....."
he said in a hoarse voice.
"I know I've been stupid... I'll have to live on my own... Be on my own..."
He still hid at the back. When she kissed him on the cheek he blushed slightly.
"No problems.."
He whispered, crying some more, silent tears. Except from when he snuffled and sniffed.

"I'm so so sorry I don't have a tissue.."
She shook her head. "You seem unwell. Let's go home, eh? And you can live with me."
She patted him on the back.
She hugged him again.
"Alright..."
She shook her head. "On the way I'll buy some tissues. I promise."

Casper nodded and slowly came out.
He walked next to her, out of the hospital... Away from his mother's deathbed.
He shook his head.
"it's just me.... Casper... On my own...."
He clung to her, walking and hugging her.
He sniffed.
"I need tissues now."
He actually laughed.

Chibiusa steadily leaned her arm on his shoulder.
She steadied him as they walked down the stairs.
She tried not to think about the death of Casper's mother.
She cried again.
"You've got me.."
She blushed a little.
She rummaged in her pockets again for tissues, and sighed.
"Alright. At the next convenience store I'll get some."
She smiled.

Casper still looked slightly handsome when he was soaked in tears. It looked like he had had a shower.
Casper sniffed and rubbed at his eyes, looking downwards.
"Ok.. But what am i gonna do with Mum's house?? She never wrote a will..."
His eyes suddenly welled with tears.
"They're gonna repossess it... Take away all our things."
He widened his eyes, looking at Chibi, gripping onto her tightly.
"Tell me this isn't real."
He whispered, as he clung to her, holding onto her and hugging her.
He trembled and shook as he sobbed onto her T-shirt.

Chibiusa looked at him. "Handsome.." She thought, then shook her head. "What.." She thought.
"We should get home. You've had a rough day."
She gripped him tightly walking into the convenience store and buying some tissues, she handed them to him. They continued walking to the bus stop.
"I'm...Not sure... Give it to charity?" She laughed. But it really wasn't a laughing matter.
She handed him a tissue.
"They won't. You can transfer all your bedroom things to my spare room. It doesn't matter. I'll cook for you and all!"
She sat down on a bus bench, and hugged him.
"Unfortunately...It is real...I'm sorry..."
She kept patting him.
"Let's go home." She said. A bus pulled up. They got on.

casper sat on the window side.
He stared out, watching the rain patter down on the window.
he put his hand on it.
"But I'm a boy.. You're a girl.. I'm 12..... Waaay young!"
He looked downwards.
"Besides. Maybe an orphanage could contain me."
He bit at his bottom lip, shivering slightly.
"I wouldn't mind living with you... Just would be hard.."
He shivered.
"You've been so nice to me.. I wish I could repay you."
Casper clunk to her, closing his eyes and slowly drifting into a light sleep.

Chibiusa stared out of the window.
She sighed as it started to rain.
She gripped Casper's hand.
"Oh well. When we're older. It's a promise."
She rubbed her head against his. "A promise I'll never forget.."

Casper finally awoke when the bus stopped at their stop.
He got up, taking Chibi with him in his cold, shaky hand.
He blinked, looking down the pathway.
"Errr.. Which is your house?"
He asked, laughing nervously.

Chibiusa smiled, and politely asked if he needed carrying, or if he was okay to walk.
She gripped his hand tightly.
"Don't you remember? This one." She said, running up the path and unlocking her house.
She smiled. "Go in! Don't be shy!"

Casper sighed and stepped inside.
He collapsed onto the sofa, tired.
He blinked and sighed again.
"I..Well wouldn't mind living with you..."
He stammered. He then nodded, nervously.
"But I'd have to go and get my stuff..."
He sat up and then got up, wondering over to her.
"See you later."
He mumbled, and deciding wheather to hug her or not, in the confusion he kissed her on the cheek.
His kiss would be heavenly, and soft.
He blushed and gulped.
"I'll be back.."

And sure enough he came back, superman comics and posters in arms and a picture of his mum and dad.
He dropped them onto the sofa, sighing.
"Back."
He mumbled.
"Sorry about the.. You know.. I was confused."

Chibiusa patted his head.
She got some blankets, and pulled them over Casper.
She hugged him again.
"Alright."
She gave him another kiss.
"Mm. I wonder what your stuff looks like!" She giggled.
She blushed.
"Oh no. Casper...Uhh, I.."
She stammered. "I kind of, err.."
"I know we've only met today, but.."
"I love you!"

Casper widened his eyes.
"You love me??"
He asked, making sure he had heard correctly.
"Woah... Maan......"
he thought about Amelia.... Then about Chibi.
he took the blankets from him.
"Seriously... I can't take this.. DECISIONS DECISIONS."
He took a breath and calmed himself.
"My heart longs for Amelia... The new girl.. And there's you that loves me.."
He thought deep.
"I dunno..."
He shrugged.
"I don't get all sweaty around you, nor does my heart beat faster. So I guess I like you as a friend.. Leave it till later."
He smirked and sighed, sitting on the sofa and getting the nearest comic. He started to read it, his eyes glittering and twinkling witht he hero he loved.

Chibiusa sighed. She wanted to cry. She didn't.
