Book Two: Weirdest Mysteries?

Francis had his hands gripped on his knees. He was sitting on the sofa, breathing heavily as if just been scared.
He looked up.
"I'm not a flipping alien. I'm a human!"
He said in his titchy, quiet voice.
Francis looked around.
"Have you got anything to drink around here? Water? Anything!"
He blinked, really thirsty.

"You're not?" She asked, as if not believing him. She ran off to the kitchen, and got some 'alien juice'
She poured it into a glass, and gave it to him. "What are you, then? An esper?"

Francis shrugged.
"Thanks."
He said, drinking it down in one.
He put the glass onto the table and whiped his mouth.
"Esper? I'm a boy.. Just like any other guy."
He looked downwards.
"At least I think I am."
He pulled his trousers open and peered down.
"Yep."
He said, nodding and pulling the flie up again.
"A guy."

Haruhi blinked. "Ew. Boys don't do things like that infront of girls. Ew."
She sighed. "Then, what happened then? You were green and bulky..."
"And suddenly...You shrunk. To you. Now."
She poked him.
"More Alien Juice?"

Francis narrowed his eyes.
"Alien juice?? You mean orange juice.. Right?"
He then narrowed his eyes.
"Oh that... It's just an illness."
He said. Not really knowing he was a hero.
Francis jumped as she poked him.

"Er, well, I call it alien juice. I'm just weird."
She shrugged. "Are you sure?"
She sighed. "If so, you got me worked up all for nothing...And what about the girl on the roof?"

Francis decided to joke.
"Yeah. I'm actually an alien. I was just pulling the joke off about being a boy."
He smirked, tilting his head sideways and he did the extraterrestrial sign.
"More alien juice please."
He said in an emotionless voice.

"Huh?"
She frowned. "You're confusing me."
She went to the fridge and got out more 'alien juice'
She poured it into a glass, and sat down in the living room, giving him the Alien Juice.
"So...What are you, really?"

Francis shrugged.
"Alien."
He said, playing it on as he drank it half way down and put the glass onto the table.
He whiped his mouth.
"If I wasn't alien could I do this?"
He slowly reached for his eyelids and popped them inside out.

"Ew!"
She shrieked. "Guess you'll be staying with me then."
She looked at his glass. "Want more of that?"

Francis shook his head.
"Nah. I'm full."
He popped the eyelids back. A free house accomedation!
Looks nice too! Better than his apartment. He needs to turn into the mean thing more often!
Francis tried to get anger again, or have a heart attack. He blinked, it didn't work by preassure so he waited... And waited... And waited. Slowly he dropped off to sleep again, closing his eyes and snoring slightly.

"Oh, he fell asleep."
She poked him. There were bangings on her door. "Coming!" She yelled.
She opened it. There was the girl from earlier, puffing and panting.
"Oh. Come in."
She opened the door wider.

Francis twitched as she poked him.
His eyelids flickered, his mouth firmly shut. His eyes were hidden under his curls.
All of a sudden he started moaning, fidgetting and twisting and turning. It was the DNA infiltrating his blood and heart. And main arteries.

"Ah! Are you alright, alien guy! Hold on! I'll get a doctor!"
She ran to a glass table and picked up the phone, dialing 999.
"Emergency! My alien-er friend, is dying!"
She replaced alien with friend because she knew they wouldn't believe her.
She told them her address, and almost instantly ambulances and sirens were heard in the distance.

Francis opened his eyes wide.
"Huh?"
A paramedic was there.. Kneeling beside him with a defribulator.
"What the--"
"Stay calm. You will be fine."
Some amateur paramedic he was.
"Hey.. You're new to the job huh?"
Francis said, through pain.
"N..No!!!!!"
The guy said, rather sad that everyone guessed.
"Why have you got them? Even I, a proper citezin knows that those are not needed."
"THEY ARE.. LOOK!"
Francis was rather shocked. (Litterally) When the guy (Francis had woken up with his T-shirt undone) put the patches on his chest.
"Dude.. I don't seriously thi--"
The guy turned it on. he was obviously holding a grudge against Francis. Francis jumped slightly.
"Hey!!! STOP DOING THAT!"
Francis ripped the patches off. And done his T-shirt up, nodding and kicking him.
"I don't NEED HELP!!!!"
Suddenly... His eyes turned green.
"You won't like me when I'm angry!"
He said... He knew what to do.. Francis ran outside and he began to gro again to his giant size. Muscles formed on his arms.. He looked around and sighed.

Haruhi screamed. So did the girl. "SEE! LOOK WHAT YOU DID!"
Haruhi pointed to Francis. "YOU MADE HIM ANGRY!"
She ran outside. "Stop! We're only trying to help you!"
The girl was weeping in the living room.

Francis narrowed his eyes, anger making him clench his fists.
He went over to the nearest building and kicked it in several times so it land slided. Cars narrowly missed it.
He picked up a tiny ant-like person and threw them.
Francis roared slightly and stamped on some cars, his left eye twitching, his heart beating fast.
His curls bounced slightly as he stomped along the roads and motorways near her house, not touching her house. He saw the paramedic van and narrowed his eyes. He picked it up in one hand like a toy car and launched it at a nearby factory.

"AHH! STOP! I KNOW YOU'RE AN ALIEN AND ALL BUT PLEASE STOP!" Several people screamed, including the girl in her house.
"Please!" Haruhi got on her knees and begged.

Francis looked down not hearing their words. He kneeled on the roads again and put his hands flat down.
He put his chin on the surface and looked at them, his eyes darting side to side.
He nodded, his curls moving slightly, his mouth closed firmly.
The last thing he did, was put his fist down on the tarmac, squishing the paramedic.
He smiled and actually laughed.But slowly.. He felt tired.. He closed his eyes and lay on his side.
And he turned his normal colour. His eyes too. And normal hight and skinny size.
He was sleeping in the road.

"Finnally! Oh dear oh dear oh dear!" The girl she met earlier fainted.
Haruhi groaned. "I'm not doing that again." She carried him inside.
Little did she realise that the alien girl/catwoman she talked to earlier was watching her every move.

Francis didn't stir, apart from shifting slightly when he lay down on the sofa.
he was biting at his bottom lip, his fingers twitching slightly. His heart beat slower and slower until it was normal, his curls hiding his eyes.
He slowly awoke, yawning.
"Aw man. I didn't just attack the place again did I?"
He peered outside the windows, desctructiona dn damage everywhere again. He sighed.
"Yep..."
He managed a shaky smile.
"Well.. I did warn him."

Haruhi tried not to burst into tears. "I'm so sorry. It was all my fault."
Her bottom lip trembled slightly, but she managed to control it.
"I was the one who called him over."

Francis shook his head.
"No.. it's my fault for acting all high and mighty. "
He hugged her and comforted her, looking at the catwoman.
Do I know you? You seem... Familiar??"

"Ahh, alright." She turned a pale pink, and tried not to.
"Hm?" She turned around.
"Oh, her. The cosplayer. I thought she was an alien at first. But then she called me weird and she didn't talk in alien language so I just left."
She stared at 'The Cosplayer'.
"Alien Juice?" She offered.

Francis raised his eyebrows.
"Sure!"
He said, smiling.
Francis looked downwards.
"I didn't catch your name.. Mine's Francis.... I played with you. I'm not really alien. I'm human."
Francis sighed and looekd ather.
"Heya."
He mumbled as he looked at the 'cosplayer' for a brief moment.
