Book 4, Enemies Attack

Francis said his thanks to her as he accepted the water.
He sipped a bit of it and held the glass in one hand.
"Well. I was thinking a bit of walking down throughthe park to the big old field. Muck around there."
He shrugged and smiled."BArely anyone goes there and the grass is so overgrown it's like a maze!"

Haruhi shrugged. "I have...Bad memories there. But, okay!" She smiled, took his hand, and ran off to the park.

Francis narrowed his eyes.
"Bad memories?"
He asked, the wind carrying away his voice slightly.
he then shrugged as they walked through the paths of gardens, the fragrences of the flowers overpowering.
He then reached up to rip a rose from it's branch and he smiled.
He thanked the movies he had watched for this.
"Here... I got this. The best rose. It's not exactly stealing."
He smirked and slowly reached for Haruhi's hair, fixing it in at the front.

Floss got off the bus and walked into her apartment, Ity had been busy for the past few weeks. Though she didnt forget that strange thing that happened ages ago.

That she somehow transformed.

Floss had been cut off from her world, surrounded in mystery. She hadent talked to Francis or Masaya or Charlene for ages.

But she wished things would just be normal again.

Francis sighed and walked along with her until they reached the feild.
"Let's run about!"
He said randomly and he ran near the edge of the field, until he tripped.
Because Francis was going really fast he almost flew in the air.
And when he landed there was a bone-crunching sound.
then a moan.
Then a laugh.
then footsteps.
"Well well well. Look who it is. Pathetic whimp!"
Francis looked up through the grass and saw Paul.
"Paul? Hey mate, give me help!"
Francis flinched as Paul kicked him in the stomach.
"Noo... Way! You're a freak.. You need to be dealt with.. As well as your little friend."
Paul bend down to Francis and punched him in the face.
Francis yelled and bled, he had a nosebleed, his wrist broken.
"HARUHI!!! ANYONE!"
He then began to cough.

Floss sighed, closed her eyes and began to relax. She was just about to dose off when she heard random shouting from the park nearby

Floss gained better hearing when she realised she could transform, so for her it was quite loud.

She suddenly opened her eyes, stumbeled off the chair and ran out of the partment, slamming the door quickly.

While running, floss held her locket in her hasnd


"Transform." She whispered.

Francis bled even more as he was winded.
He looked up through stinging eyes.
"You don't have to do this.."
He said in a hoarse voice.
"Oh but I do!!!"
Paul grabbed hold of Francis's tie and wrapped it around his neck Francis realised what paul was doing and begged him to stop.
"Don't kill me..."
He said, feeling the grip tighten on the tie.
There was no pause... Stop...
He was being strangled.

"Hey!" Came a vocie


This voice seemed loud, and threatning yet it also felt like the sound was..Smiling.



Paul turned his head to look at this.

It was floss



(..It..looks...so..wrong some how...)


Paul stared, but still held onto the tie.

Suddenly he broke into a laugh.

Floss got angry. Ok. No one laughs at me powered up! She was thinking of lunging for him then stopped herself

She needs to just make paul let go of the tie. And stop..killing this guy.

"You. You better drop him!" Floss shouted

"Or what? You'll smuge lipstick all over me- Oh no!!" pAUL Said sarcasticaly.

That really made her angry. She flicked her hand, and instantly her nails turned into long sharp claws.

"Do I need to say anymore?"

Francis made gasping noises, tearing at the tie with his hands. Though the grip was too tigh.
His face was looking slightly blue.
His chest heaved as he attempted to rip it off, his eyes wondering over to Floss in a helpless way.

Floss narrowed her eyes, and pauls kept his on her claws.

Paul suddenly jumped and tied FrANCIS TO THE SWINGS FRAM

Floss gasped, and took out her hook gun


Quick as a flash, she aimed and shot the hook at Paul. It hit him on the forehead.


Ha, Floss thought. Then she saw Francis. Oops

Floss climbed up the fram (Cats climb gewd) and used her claws to tear through the tie. The tie broke and Francis hit the floor

Double oops. vShould of saw that coming. Floss thought

francis said nothing but he bled, the marks where the tie cut in bled.
He looked like a bleeding mass, his eyes half-closed, his breathing un-even and shallow.
He was unconcious.
He wished to thank whoever saved him from an early death!
Francis's curls hid his eyes, his mouth half-open, his nose still bleeding.

Floss knelt down.

Wait.


Isnt that the guy from that concert practise?!

...Small world.


Floss wiped the cut clean.

But how could she take him to hospital?

I know! Floss thought.


After a lot of dragging, Floss just left him inside a hospital.


She saw he was waking up. Eek! Gotta go! she thought. She checked no one saw her, opened the win dow, and clicked her hook from the gun onto the ledge. It was a long way from Francis' ward to the floor. Ah, well.

She jumped holdfing onto her hook gun. Eventually she reached the outside, and put her hook gun in her pocket, running off,

Francis took a deep breath as he awoke, leaning on his hands.
He was in hospital??
What happened??
Francis felt achy all over. He put a hand to his left cheek and sticky, warm blood came off onto his hand.
He blinked.
"Huh?"
He asked himself.
He saw a tail flicker from the window.
Without thinking Francis got up from the bed, he peered outside and caught a glimpse of something running into the distance.
Francis put a hand to the cold glass, blood coming off onto the glass and he sighed.

I'll ignore EVERY SINGLE POST ABOUT THE HOSPITAL SINCE SOMEBODY DIDN'T INCLUDE ME.

Haruhi screamed, and fell unconcious to the ground.

THERE. DAMNIT.

Francis sighed and sat on the edge of the bed, staring at the opposite wall.
He sniffed, closing his eyes, bottom lip trembling.
What was Paul UP to?
Whatever he was up to he's now dead..
Francis let a few mourning tears run for his best friend and he then continued to stare at the opposite wall

It's not fair. I included you guys but you didn't include me D;
And I'm assuming Kath got my message on MSN

Haruhi woke up in a daze. What just happened? Why didn't she defend Francis? She slowly but steadily walked home.

Francis blinked.
"Hello... I'm not sure but I think I'm not meant to be here..."
Francis had forgotten everything that happened before he blacked out... And now he was talking to a nurse.
Francis sighed, the nurse just laughed.
"You are... You were hurt... Butwe've trated to your wounds, the only thing you'll have his a new white scar around your neck."
"Man the school ties are dangerous!"
Francis muttered, sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Am I free to go?"
He asked.
"Yes yes, I'll sign you out."
Francis walked out. blood still on his hands.
The nurse hadn't noticed.
She was blind.
Francis called Haruhi as asoon as he was out, he put an answering machine message.
"Hey. It's Francis. I'm outta the hospital. Sorry the date-err I mean the day out was ruined. I'll come to your house."
He rang off and started at a fast pace to Haruhi's house.

Haruhi took out the rose from her hair. "Why..Didn't I help him? Was I too dazed?" She heard a knock at the door. "C-Coming!" She opened it. "Francis! Hello! Come in!" She waved him in and shut the door.

Francis actually lept in and wrapped his arms around her, sobbing into her shoulder so suddenly.
"I...Was.....So...Scared!"
He panicked, sobbing, his whole body hurting but he ignored it, his grip tightened on Haruhi's waist.
His heart beat faster, his mouth dry.

Haruhi was shocked. "I'm so sorry...I couldn't defend you.." She kissed him dryly on the lips. "I tried willing the ground to go up and thump him on the head...Nothing happened! I don't know why!" She tried not to cry as well.

Francis wailed harder after she kissed him.
"Get...Me....My...Pills....In...My...Front....Pocket!"
He was gasping now, getting his breath back from wailing.

Haruhi quickly got his pills, and handed them to him.

Francis took four of them.
He sighed.
"Okay...Okay...I've stopped panicking..."
He mumbled putting the pills away and fanning himself.
He walked over to the sofa and sat down, perching on the edge of it, looking at the opposite wall.

Floss was on a rooftop of a random building again


Cool. She could be a hero, saviong peoples lives, stopping rob. Er. Ries...



Floss' eye caught something in the jewlery store.

It was a huge, sparkling diamond..

Wow. Sure is pretty... Floss thought

No! I dont want to turn out like my dad, stealing sutff. Floss thought


But she looked at the diamond again

"Ok. Just this once.." She told herself.


Holding her locket, she whispered. "Transform!"





She smirked, and took out her hook gun. Aming it at the roof of the jewlery store, she shot, and swung to the roof

Clicking here hook back into the gun and shoving it away, she saw there was a glass window on the roof

"Well. Ok then, that was stupid to put that there. But incredibly easy for me." Floss smiled, and flicked her hand. Instantly, her nails turned into very long sharp claws. She made a circle with the claw on the glass, and cut it. Pulling the glass back, she suddenly swoopt down.

Good thing it was closed.

Floss closed her eyes,. When she opened them, they glowed yellow, like cats eyes. She could see slightly in the dark (Like cats 8D)

Floss searching around, and found the diamond. It was in a glasscase.

There was a sign: "WAERNING! SECRUITY DETECTED!" Floss read.]

"Nothing too hard for me.." She smirked.

Doing the same thing she did getting it, she put her hand through the cut hole, and gently picked the diamon out slowly.

Soon as she did this, alarm bells went off everywhere. Secruity guards rushed in and held their guns.

Floss blinked. "Theres no point using those usless things." she declared, hand on hip with the diamond in her other

"Drop the diamond!" CAME A VOICE

Floss laughed. "You think i'd just give it up?"

"We said drop it, or we'll shoot!"

"Oh really? I wouldent do that if I were you." Floss sighed, showing off her claws.

Some guards blinked and froze.

"Indeed, my friends, now i'll just take thios here," Floss tapped the diamond in her hand "And go."

Suddenly some of them shot.

Floss leapt onto the walls and climbed out of the way, dogding tthem. She leapt through that hole she did earlier, and shot her gun to another rooftop. She swung onto thast vroof and ran, roof to roof, grinned and laughing,. feeling so alive with the diamond in her hand.

Francis sighed, he turned on the T.V to see a news report.
A jewlery robbery.
Francis immediately thought of Casper.
"If I ever find who did it I'll kill them!"
He made it out as a joke, laughing falsely.
But he meant it.
Francis began to turn green.
"See you later."
He muttered angrily to Haruhi, hwho was freaking out by this point.
He was soon roaring and setting about the town, looking for robbers of all sort.
Though they'd be hard to find.
He suddenly saw a flash... It was claws... A cat??
He saw police running after her.
Francis laughed, they all looked up at him.
Francis reached a green hand to Floss and picked her up, wrapping his hand around her.
He put her up in front of his face, staring at her with menaxing, wide, green, eyes.
