Book 2, That's just the way we roll.

Newt blinked.
"N.......N...........Nikki..."
He said, barely able to talk.
"Y...You ok?"
He didn't open his eyes, he lay there, tasting the blood well in his mouth, looking like Aslan after his fur had been shorn, feeling like it too.

Nikki coughed a bit, shaking still, "Y-Yeah." she panted and nodded. Then, she jerked her head over to the door, followed by hissing in pain. She listened closely. They were comming to see what the commotion was.
Nikki put her arms around Newt and mumbled a word. They dissapeared and appeared in the woods.
It was bright out, and it didn't seem the same as home would.
Nikki howled slightly, breaking it by hissing in pain.
Soon, there were footsteps, and behind the trees came a woman with black hair, brown eyes, and wore black and red clothing. "Welcome back, Sekura."

Newt gasped slightly, able to stand, but barely.
He looked at the woman, then at Nikki.

...Sekura? Where the hell are we??!!!
He asked in a panicked voice.
Newt stayed silent, backing away slightly, whiping the blood from his head.

The woman laughed, "Newt, you know I can hear you, too."
Nikki looked up, "Don't . . . You know?"
Between the trees was the picture of a village, at the end was a castle, and the cottage nearby the woods was one that seemed unused, yet through the windows were millions of books. It was Nikki's real home.

Newt stedied himself against a tree, blushing slightly at her being able to hear.
He shook his head slowly, narrowing his eyes.
"No....."
He said aloud, but quietly.

Yuki was at home reading.


Then voices filled her head "Attack." they whispered in her head.


She stopped reading, and pushed up her glasses, looking around.


The voices stopped.



Then they carried on, then they started screaming and shouting. Yuki held her head in her hand for a moment.

"FINE." She shouted. Everything went slient. "But where."

There was a long pause


The sense of direction has been granted. the voice whispered to Yuki.


Yuki could somehow sense where it was.

But she could also sense something bad about this.

"Its about Nikki and Newt or something, isnt it." yuki said.

"Its for your own good. They must be killed." the voice spoke

"But how is destroying an unknown place killing them."

"We are simply breaking them down. Bit by bit. First, Nikki, who is protecting..Newton."

"But I cant kill them!" Yuki shouted to nothing

"Nagato. It is the future."

"What? What future?" Yuki shouted.

No answer.

"Im not completing your request, lack of data." Yuki declared.

"Are you sure. Consequences shall begin." The voice spoke. Suddenly yuki couldent breathe, and felt a stabbing pain. It felt so vivid, so real, but it wasnt. Yuki fell to her knees, clutching her throat.

A dark orb surround yuki. When it faded there was a figure. In a cape with a hat. The pain and choking feeling was gone.


The figure clutched its wand.
And the guitar.

Newt whiped at his bloodied nose.
"I can't...... Take this! ALL THIS MADNESS! MAGIC SUCKS! I WANT TO GO BACK!"
He yelled, Nikki and the lady looked at him strangely.
"Fine!"
He yelled.
"I'll uhhh. GO! I don't feel I should be here!"
He used his magic to teleport, disapearing.
He apeared in his street, and he moaned, sweating, blood dripping slightly.
He sent a thought to Nikki.

I'm not ready to go there........
He thought.
Newt moaned, wrist broken, eyes closing slightly.
He didn't want the memories.

As they say.

Aslan is on the move.

Nikki looked at Newt "What were those flashbacks then?" The woman dissapeared.

Newt saw his mansion.
Childhood.......The other life....... Being attacked..........
He gasped slightly.

Nikki raised an eyebrow, the smirked a bit, still panting, "How . . . About this?"
She put her hand on her forehead and said a word that may or may not be familiar. Then, she stopped panting, stopped shaking, and she was standing looking like nothing happened. She did the same with Newt.
It was her healing power.

Newt picked himself up, he felt fine.
Newt rolled up his sleve to his arm and undid the bandage.
No mark there.
He sighed.
"Thanks."
He said.
"Look, I gotta go home. Worried parents. Especially mum."
He smiled and waved at Nikki.
"See ya by my locker, after school."
He shoved his hands in his pockets, sleeve still rolled up.
As soon as he walked to the door, about to knock on it, the door opened and a hand landed on his collar, dragging him inside.
"NEWTON!!!!!!"
he heard his mum shriek.
She began to hug him tightly and kiss him on every available space on his face.
"Ack. Mum!"
His mum stopped and she stood back.
"Your father and I called the police! We were SO worried!"
Newt gulped at the word 'father'. Newt was dead..... Deader than dead. If he found out about him disapearing he would lecture and ground him until he were dead!
"I'll just call him up. Get to bed before he gets home. Staying up late is bad if you are to become a genius!"
Newt rolled his eyes and ran upstairs, expecting his father to bang straight through the door and start yelling at Newt.
But he didn't, so Newt went into his massive room and wore his Ty-dye PJs.
He got into his bed, closing his blue eyes, thinking about today until he fell fast asleep.

The next day in school


Yuki was sat in her seat, staring out the window.

Newt sat in his usual place.
But his eyes widened as he saw Yuki, a slow smile spreading across his face.
His cheeks were rosy, his blue eyes twinkling slightly.




He slowly got up when the etacher went out and knelt beside her desk, one arm on it, he still grinned.
"Hey! How are you?"
He asked, not wanting to bring up the topic of the Nagato situation.
He flipped his blonde hair out of his blue eyes.

Yuki turned her head to face Newt. She wasnt wearing her glasses, and looked identical to Nagato.



"Hello." she said

Newt gripped the table slightly with his hands, so hard his knuckles were white.
Well, that concludes she really is Nagato.
"Sorry about...Err..... Body slamming you to the floor."
He mentioned, blushing slightly.
"My friend wasn't doing any harm to me."
He amangedd a shaky smile, rather fearing what she would do next.

Nikki didn't come to school that day.
She had been working at the restaurant all day, from 5am to 6pm. Making up for the time she had missed the day before when she was attacked.

Yukis eyes widened.

She then slammed her book shut and walked out of the classroom.


How could he know? It was the hat, wasnt it. Yuki thought.

Everyone stared at Newt as she walked out.
But luckily the bell went for the end of the day so he got up and put his things away.
He left the classroom first and sighed, going to his locker.
He wasn't at all surprised not to find Nikki there but he opened his locker and put his books in, slamming it shut.
Newt felt like finding Yuki, but he thought she'd be in a bad mood if he found her, so Newt carefully made his way home.

As soon as Newt opened the front door he heard his mum's high heels clacking against the wooden flooring.
But he saw her....... She looked terrible. Her mascara was running, red eyes, pale face and falling tears.
Newt didn't know what to do so he put his bag down on the floor.
"Mum...."
He started.
His mum shook her head, running at him, Newt expected her to vice grip him into a hug. She did.
"Oh Newt....... Your father never returned from the police station. I called the police.. They're trying to find him..... D...Dead.... Or alive."
She whispered in Newt's ear.
Newt's eyes widened. He remembered something about the attack.... That man..... He looked like one of his dad's work collegues. But the other man.. Had the same bright blue eyes as him, he just hid his face....
Newt gasped, his mum feeling Newt's tenseness as she hugged him.
"What's wrong?"
She asked, letting go of him and standing slightly away from him.
Newt shook his head.
"It's fine."
He said in barely a whisper.
Newt picked up his bag and ran upstairs, almost tearing the floorboards up.
When he reached his bedroom he threw the bag onto the bed and slammed the door shut, panting fast as he pressed against it like some monster was trying to get in.
"My dad can'tve tried to kill me......... Why would he?!!"

Nikki's head ached,
felt like someone had hit the back of her head.
Though this wasn't the first time this has happened.
She knew what it was. She had been using her mind to travel other worlds, and psycics were messing with her mind. Giving her slight visions of the future in her sleep, headaches, actually being slightly attached. She was a victim of a so called, "paranormal" happening. The problem was she didn't know how to stop it.
It has happened before in her past lives, so it's nothing to worry about, though she hated it. It made her jerk every once in a while when unwanted, draw pictures that would be of future referance, and things like that.
Nikki sped around doing millions of things: Taking orders, bring them, cleaning tishes, wiping tables.
She then stopped all of a sudden and put her hands to her temples, cursing under her breath as she felt another thing hit her head, causing headaches. A picture formed in her head, though it was of the past.
Then she looked around, and realised the room was slightly dark, and seemed like nobody was around.
"Nikki." She heard a voice say.
It was the cook, his hand on the lights
Nikki turned around and shook her head, a wet rag in her head.
"You okay?"
Nikki shook her head, then smiled, "Yeah."
The cook blinked, then smiled, "Thaught you still had to work, huh?" He sighed, "Well, you better get going before I end u having to lock you in.
Nikki put the towel in the bucket of water and slipped her card in the machine. She was on her way out when she turned back, "Thanks."
The cook grined, "See you tomarrow."

Newt suddenly felt a buzz in his pocket... His mobile.
He sighed and took it out, wlaking over to his bed as he did so, blonde hair in his eyes.
He had too much on his mind.. He wasn't in the mood to talk.
"HEY NEWT!"
Came a high, squeaky voice.
"Hello.. Charlie."
Oh great. It was fourteen year old Charlie. He had known him since the start of school..... And he skipped a couple of years... Super geniuses...
Newt sighed.
"LOOK NEWT! INTERESTING NEWS--"
"I can't exactly look."
There was a sigh.
"Newt you idiot.... I've invented something!!"
Newt rolled his eyes. No surprise there.
"What?"
He asked.
"Another useless invention?"
"No silly! A time travelling machine."
Newt shook his head.
"Stop lying Charlie."
Charlie growled slightly.
"I AM NOT LYING! And to proove it. Come to my house, after school tomorow. Don't be late."
"OKay.."
Newt hung up, putting the phone on the bedside table.
He lay down on his bed, hand over eyes.
"Lord help me."

Nikki drove her car up to Newt's driveway and walked to the portch, knocking on the door gently, but loud enough so Newt or his mom could answer the door.

Newt lay downstairs on the sofa, but heard smeone knock at the door.
"I'll get it!"
He yelled to his mum, who was in one of the studies working.
Newt had put on black jeans, black and grey striped tight sweater and black converse.
He rna to the door, opening it.
He relaised it was Nikki and he smiled, leaning agaisnt the doorframe.
"Heya."
He said casually, standing aside so she could get into the massive mansion hallway.
"Come on in. You can keep your shoes on. Why are you here?"
He asked.

Nikki smiled a bit and walked in, her voice seemed quiet and depressed, "Thank you."
She turned and looked sadly at Newt, "I, uh. Just want to talk about stuff." She put her hands in her pockets, looking to the bottom left of her eye. In one of her pockets held something that would be revealed later.

Newt blinked.
"Ohh....Kay'."
He closed the door shut, hoping a cold breeze wouldn't blow into the house and make his mum get up and start yelling.
He looke dat her, his own hands in his pockets too.
"What's wrong?"
He asked, blinking rapidly.
"You don't seem bubbly."

Nikki looked up, then over at one of the studios where his mom was at, "I don't want her hearing." She blinked. once, unfazed.
