Zeke smirked and nodded, rolling his eyes.
"I wish they'd learn to shutup sometimes."
He sighed, rubbing at his hands with the arm of his leather jacket.

Meanwhile...

"Uhh...... Newt..... You there?"
Came a timid voice from Charlie.
No reply...... But a wretching noise came from the locked door.
Charlie shivered slightly.
"Come on... Let's get downstairs."
Finally a voice came from Newt.
"But I look terrible."
Charlie grinned.
"So? You can stay round' mine..... We'll eat stuff and invent stuff. Watch stuff.. Do stuff. pleeeeease."
Newt sighed.
"Well....I'm not coming downstairs. I look HORRIBLE."
Then there came a moan.
Charlie sighed.
"Ok..... Just get better soon."
Charlie said, running back downstairs.
He ran into the living room where Nikki and Zeke were.
"Hey guys..... Newt'll be down once you go...... It's not that he hates you."
Charlie widened his eyes at this.
"He just feels ill."
Charlie admitted, yawning slightly.
Zeke caught the contagious yawn.
"I think I should go.. See you dweebs later."
Zeke put on his leather jacket.
"Ok... See you tomorow Zeke."
Zeke said nothing and slammed the door behind himself.
Charlie laughed nervously.
"Well....... Err..... Are you going to stay or do you have to do your shift?"
He asked, smiling.
"For dinner I mean. It's salad.........Just salad and some H2o."

Nikki looked at Charlie, her eyes widened. She then looked at her watch, "Oh shit! I'm late!" She stood up and smiled, then gave Charlie a worried look, "No more time traveling alright?" After hearing Charlie's reply she ran out the door, "Thanks! Give Newt my best wishes for me!" She got into her car and sped to the Diner.

Charlie nodded, and sighed, watching her go.
A few moments later, Newt came.
He looked greyer, almost as if he were black and white.
Charlie blinked, eyes widened.
"Uhh...... Newt."
Newt smirked.
"What?"
He asked, sitting down beside Charlie.
"YOU'RE IN BLACK AND WHITE!!!"

Nikki sped to the Diner walking in with an angry manager to greet her.
"Nikki, boss wants to see you."
Nikki knew what that meant.
She walked up to a door by the kitchen and knocked on it gently.



She opened it gentally.
"Nikki."
Her boss spoke to her in a slightly gentally way, the only thing that fased her was, "going to have to let you go." Her eyes widened.
"NO! Please don't do this!" Her eyes filled with water, "You know how much I need this job!"
"I'm sorry Nikki, though you keep on comming in late, you don't follow the staff rules, and you just . . . " He sighed. "Turn in your name badge and apron please."
Nikki sadly walked into the kitchen, a tear rolled down her cheak. The cook turned around and gave a sorry look to Nikki, "I did my best." He walked over to her and gave her a hug, "I'm going to miss you behind the desk."
Nikki smiled and nodded, "I'm going to miss you too. Thank you." She hung up her apron and badge, then walked out of the Diner and drove home.

Charlie poked Newt.
"Ow.. Hey! I am here ya' know!"
Newt replied angrily.
"What's wrong with me?"
He asked, starting to panick.
Charlie's eyes were wide, his mouth slightly open.
"You....You're in black and white.... No joke!"
Newt got up and went into the hall.
He looked in the hallway golden mirror and squeaked.
He had grey skin. Grey hair , black clothing, black eyes.
"YOU IDIOT. THE TIME TRAVELLING WENT WRONG!"
Newt yelled.

Nikki banged herself in the forehed, "Gah!" She walked up to Charlie's driveway and onto the front portch and knocked. She had forgotten her glasses and left them on the couch.

Charlie gulped as someone knocked at the door.
"HIDE!" He hissed, running to the door.
Newt looked around and went into the living room, siting down.
Charlie opened the door, smiling.
"Oh.. Hey Nikki! You left your glasses behind..... Aren't you a bit early for a job?"
He asked, trying to hold her back.

Nikki wiped a tear away from her cheak and smiled, nodding, "Yeah . . ." She then looked down, and laughed slightly, "I got fired." she then looked back up, "Mmm no big deal though." She looked to the left a bit then back, "Is Newt feeling better?"

Charlie gasped.
"I am so.....Sorry...."
He bit at his bottom lip.
"I hope you will be able to find a ten times better job. I mean, who would fire you? They must have no brains!"
He then tugged at his shirt collar at the mention of Newt.
"Completely splendiforus."
He rushed in his high-pitched voice, blocking the entry to the livingroom, leaning across it.

Meanwhile.

".............Why the hell am I wearing a suit?"
He asked himself, looking down at his black suit with grey tie.
He was changing rapidly.
A black bowler hat suddenly appeared on his grey hair.
He looked like a bhuisness man from an old black and white film.
He was in black and white!
"This is absurd!"
He said, blinking rapidly.
He spoke in a posh accent.

Nikki smiled, "Thanks."
Her face fell.
She closed her eyes and looked in the direction of the kitchen, then opened them and raised an eyebrow, "may I come in?" Her voice seemed suspicious.

Charlie suddenly looked up, eyes wide.
"Kitchen yes.. Living room....... Uhh........ We're getting it decorated..... Just now!"
He was rubbish at lying. Charlie should face it.
But Charlie continued to block the entrance.

Meanwhile.

"Oh me. Oh my......I dread to think what Nikki would say if she saw me! It would frighten her out of her wits."
He looked around.. No way out of this.....

Nikki stood up next to Charlie, eyes blank as she looked at Charlie, "No need to lie, I already know." She smirked a bit, "May I come in now?"

Charlie sighed.
"About Newt being from a black and white film replacing old Newt?"
He panted, out of breath.
Charlie stood aside.
And there was Newt, blonde hair slightly gelled with the bowler hat placed on top in black and white.
He had white gloves on his hands.
He was smartly dressed.
Newt stood up straight. An air about him.
"Good afternoon madame. The weather is adequate."
He said in a smooth, posh, upper class voice.
Newt also had a posh cane.
He leaned on it.
Newt looked oddly handsome.
Charlie satred at Newt.
"Uhmm... He looks worse than when I last saw him>"

Nikki Nodded, "mhm."
She then looked over at Newt, nodding and did a slight curtsey, "Good afternoon, Mr. Newton. Yes, it is quite." She smiled slightly and walked up to Newt, "How was your day?"

"It was adequate.. Neither good nor bad."
He raised his eyebrows.
"My name is not Newton,dear, I am Charles... Owner of three acres, a mansion in the county and ten cars."
Charles rolled his eyes slightly.
"Any person should know me. Why, I--"
Charlie butt in.
"Newt...... Is that REALLY you?"
Charles seemed to get annoyed.
"My name is not Newt! I am Charles Livingston. Member of the Livingston family tree."
Charlie narrowed his eyes.
He had a pretty good explanation of what has happened.
"I think we pretty much dragged an older family tree member than we should've. We want the recent Livingston, Newt."
He whispered to Nikki.
"Have you any tea or cigars?"
Came a posh voice from the look-a-like Newt.
Charlie nodded.
"I can steal some of my dad's."
Charlie ran off.
