Book 7, Bet on it

Nikki sat next to Newt's father, folding her hands on her lap. 'While I was gone, when I found out Ron was dead .. . "She shook her head, "You wouldnt've been here now if I wasn't enslaved. It actually made me sing . . . Though in huge depression" Her eyes were filled with saddness with fire. Then she began to sing, meaning every word to make Newt's father feel bad. This was the exact song she sang when she found out Ron was dead. Tears streamed down her cheaks as she sang. Her voice seemed beautiful as it rang through the alleys.

"I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears

These wounds won't seem to heal

When she was finished, and looked back down at Newt's father, eyes lined with black as they were dark emerald. "I hope you feel horrible for what you've done." Golden tears streamed down her cheaks.

Newt's father couldn't exactly feel anything.
He was unable to do ANYTHING.
He knew death would come soon.
He wanted it quicker and painless, but this endless pain was hurting him. As well as guilt.
She wanted to shut Nikki up, but he stayed down, helpless.
He could feel the poisen working deep into his heart. He had a slight nosebleed.
And then... After one minute. He was completely senseless. He didn't understand why he was down there. Or what was happening. He couldn't smell, see, hear.
Newt's father was loosing himself.
He blacked out....

And was gone. He ceased to move.
Sans Johnathon Weasley.

Newt began to stir, he firstly heard the singing.
Newt wondered what was going on.
His blue eyes were seen again.
He moaned.
"Nnngh.... Nikki, cut that racket--"
He gasped as he saw the body of his father. even from there he could tell he was dead.
"Dad?"
He asked, just in case he was wrong.
"Daddy?"
He called again, ignoring Nikki.
Newt was slowly feeling himself breaking.
Until..
"DAAAAAAAAD!"
He screamed, voice breaking.
He put a hand on his father's cheek. Pale and cold at touch.
Newt began to panic badly, barely able to breathe, though breathing fast.
The colour was draining from his face badly.
"Dad..................DAD......DAD!"
He repeated, shaking his father by the shoulders.
"Speak to me. Ground me. Tell me off. Hit me. ANYTHING. Dad you're ok???!!!! PLEASE!"
Tears were falling down each cheek. It was a pitying sight.
Newt's eyes were wide, heart pounding in his chest.
A horrified look apon his sweet, soft face.
He cried noisily, not able to speak as gasping sobs came out, his eyes scanning his father.

Nikki held her necklace close to herself. She looked away, more golden tears waterfalling down her cheaks. She wouldn't look at the two. Her heart felt heavy. She looked down sadly. unsure if Newt knew she killed him or not. She wasn't sure even to explain.

Newt suddenly laid his eyes apon Nikki.
"What did you do to him?!!!"
He said quietly.
But he repeated, in a loud, scary voice.
He got up.
"I'LL KILL YOU!"
He shrieked, tears still coming, teeth bared, as he tried to reach for her.
But he failed, collapsing to the flor in a withered heap, sobbing.
"YOu've ruined me. Nikki. You;ve ruined my life. I hate you. I hate you so much. I don't want to ever see your face or see your messed up mind EVER AGAIN!"

More golden tears streamed down Nikki's cheaks, "IF YOU WANT TO KILL ME THEN WHY DON'T YOU NOW?! THIS ISN'T A JOY RIDE FOR ME EITHER, NEWT!" She yelled in Sekura's voice. "YOUR FATHER JUST TRIED TO KILL YOU BY TAKING OVER YOUR BODY. ALL BECAUSE OF SOME STUPID ALBUMS! HE KILLED RON, HE KILLED MY LIFE!" She began crying blood tears, "I DON'T EVEN CARE IF YOU HATE ME!" she lied.
She got into her bookbag and pulled out a knife and handed it to Newt, "Here's your chance." She said, teeth locked as she looked at the blade.

Newt yelled back.
"HE WASN'T GOING TO KILL ME. HE NEEDED THOSE ALBUMS. HE NEEDED THEM FOR ME. HE WANTED TO GET RID THAT I WAS EVER A PUREBLOOD!"
Newt looked scarily like his father.
He grabbed the knife.
"Fine."
He said.
"I will!"
He looked as if he were aiming for Nikki.
But he sudden;y plunged it into his leg.
Blood instantly poured fom the wound, drenching his jeans and leg.
He took a shuddering breath.
"I'm not like you..."
He said, his heart beating faster, his eyes narrowing.

Nikki grabbed the knife and yanked it out, healing the wound immediately. She didn't say a thing except putting the tip to her heart. She looked at Newt, "You aren't. I deserve the death." She looked at the door where Ron was.

As if by magic.
Ron burst out of the house, running at Nikki.
"Don't you DARE!"
He bellowed, eyes wide open.
He put his hand firmly on Nikki's, looking into her eyes.
"You'll gain nothing by this. Believe me."
His warm hand was over Nikki's cold hand.
He was closer to her.
He was real.
"I'll be able to live my life with you again. You made me real.... Though my family is dead. I'll still live with you. No matter what. And if you kill yourself. I'll kill myself. And you'll make it worse."

Nikki swallowed hard and looked at Ron's hand. blood tears burned the floor. She looked at at Ron, then Newt. She put her hand on her necklace, then set the knife down.

Ron smiled warmly, ignoring the tears.
He looked at Newt.
"You did good."
Ron said, smirking.
He led Nikki into a warm embrace and kissed her on the cheek, stroking her hair slightly.
"Well done Sekura. Now.. No one wants to kill themselves now, do they?"
Newt raised his hand jokily.
Ron rolled his eyes.
"Isn't it wierd I'm the same age as you?"
Ron asked newt, chuckling.

Nikki hugged Ron back, the tears gone. She smirked a bit, feeling like a puppy, which made her laugh a litte. She smiled when Ron kissed her cheak, then nodded.
