Book 2, Friend or Foe, How Should We Know?

Afk for about 20 mins

Fred slipped his knife into his pocket, hands bloodied.
He climbed up a tree, next to the school gates, spotting Sekura and Munt.
"I got her."
He announced, and slid along a strong branch.
He jumped off and landed on the pavement next to Sekura, Kimmi and Pete suddenly joining up.
He eyed them both with a dark glare, but then called to Pinka.
"Come on. Just climb up!"
He said, whiping his hands on his jeans, staining them.

Pinka ran after Fred, Looking over to Kimmi.
She climbed up the fence, which was next to the tree, totally forgetting she could use her powers.
She slid off of the same branch Fred had used to Slide off, swiftly landing on the pavement next to Pete.
Her Pink hair still curled at the end.
Pete, who was standing next to Kimmi Drooled at Pinka.
Kimmi rolled her eyes and Pinka sighed.
Pinka looked over at Sekura's Bandage, nodding at Sekura.
Pinka looked at Fred.
Pinka saw his blooded hands, gently holding them up to her eyes so she could look at them properly. She then turned her head to Fred, giving him a bandage.
"Why did you help me?" She questioned Fred, looking at him.

Fred took the bandage and bit a section off.
He only needed to whipe his hands with it, as it was the teacher's blood.
He raised his eyebrows at Pete, smirking.
"I think someone has a little fan."
He teased, almost in a sarcastic way.
He turned his back to them, and spoke in a dark voice, curls ruffling in the wind,
"I saved you.. Because I regret my actions."
He said, loud enough for them all to hear.
"I killed someone who was close to me. And... I can't kill another girl."
He sighed, putting a hand to his forehead, closing his eyes. He turned back to them, his face solemn.
"Forgive me. For all the things I tried, and failed, to do." He announced to them all.
"And all that I will do in the future."

Pinka raised one brow.
"How do you know you'll do anything in the future?" Pinka said.
Kimmi and Sek nodded.
Pete was just staring ahead.
Pinka turned to Fred.
"Do you want him in your way?" Pinka said, looking at Fred.
"A geek like that? No thank you." He said, poking his cheek.
Pinka walked up to Pete.
"Hi Pete." She said, flipping her hair.
"H-hiih-hi-Hi!!" He said, a slobber of drool hitting his foot. Pinka shivered, but acted Sexy.
"Soo, Do you like school?" Pinka said, winking at him.
"Whjadjjj" Pete said, falling fowards onto the Grass.
Pinka looked at the drool, taking a step back.
"I didn't know why I even bothered with that. He was already in a fantasy, anyway." Pinka said, standing up and using her normal talking voice.
"So, your going to this school?" Pinka said, doing a back-flip and sitting on a tree, landing on her butt.



"Doesn't that hurt?" Kimmi said, looking to Sekura then to Pinka.
"Kimmi. You can do it aswell. You went to Kung-fu school with me for 3 years." Pinka sighed, looking at the moon.
"I better go home. My mum is worried." Kimmi said.
Pinka twitched, as she quietly sniffled and began to cry again, the memory of her mum.

She couldn't help but to shred a tear. She loved her mum and couldn't crying. She sighed, laying back on the tree as a tear shed again, as Pinka clenched her fists in anger of the twin-towers. She wiped her eyes.
"Ok Pinka. I'm 14 now. No crying over mum." Pinka forced herself to say, her eyes bloodshot and red. She waved to Munt and Sekura and Kimmi that left. She got down the branch, and slid down the fat trunk of the tree.

She wiped her red eyes, and managed a twitchy smile at Fred.

Fred shrugged.
"I don't know.. But it's best to apologise before I do anything."
He smirked, eyes showing up dull.
He looked at Pete, stepping beside the drool.
He crouched down beside the fallen Pete and lifted his head up by grabbing his hair.
"Dude. Just..Just trust me on this one. You'll never get a girl like that. Go to the Library or something."
He didn't let Pete answer, as he let go and let Pete's head smash to the floor.
He saw Pinka crying, and he tutted.
"See you...All."
He said to Kimmi, Sek and the others.
He walked forwards, and looked up at the tree she was perching on.
He scratched the back of his black curls.
"Look.. Don't cry. If it consoles you much.. My parents are SCARED of me."
He shrugged.
Fred sat cross-legged, at the bottom of the tree, staring up at her.

(Right. CLosest to the camera)

Pinka sighed.
"At least you had a family. After my mum died.. My dad just went mental and started hitting my Sister and I. I am left alone in this empty house with like 5 rooms in, with my poor sister that is basicly all alone. But I work in a cafe and I gave her her own little credit card with money in so whenever I leave her alone in the house she can get food and stuff." Pinka said, taking in breath before looking down at Fred. She smiled.
"It's alright though, I guess i'm just used to it." Pinka said.
"I've ran away.." Pinka paused to count.
"Six years ago." Pinka said, looking back at Fred. She slid down the fat trunk of the tree and sat next to Fred, Patting his back.
"I feel your pain." She said, hesitating and looking at Pete.
Pete just grumpily walked off and looked at Pinka, smiling at her.
"I hate you Fred. And I can go near her if I like." Pete said, catching up with Kimiko.
Pinka smirked at Fred, then looked up to the stars.

brb; dinner.

Fred managed a smile.
"I would rather my parents dead than them be frightened of me. Their residence is behind the couch." He chuckled, but uneasily.
Fred looked at her, shaking his head.
"Then there's always... Madness."
His smile faded into a grimace.
"I... Kill people.. But minus the guilt.."
He sighed.
"Apart from Kitty.."
He shook his head, looking up at the stars as well, swallowing slightly.
"I wonder if she's up there."
He sniffed drily.
"I bet she's laughing at me now."
He then tutted and sighed, comforting her.
"Poor you, though.. It must've torn you.. To shreds. I wish I have the bottle to run away."

Pinka patted him on the back, hearing him sniff.
"I'm alright. I had no choice. It was either Sod and I dead, or I had to run away. My dad is probally hitting the walls or abusing some other poor thing." Pinka sighed heavily.
She then paused, rewinding that word.
I kill people, Minus the guilt

Pinka hesitated.

"You kill people?" She said, turning her body properly, facing Fred.
She Paused.
"No, i'm not going to get a cop." She giggled. She then put on a serious face.
"Really? I mean, i've seen you with your knife and the blood.. But I didn't think anything would happen." Pinka said, sighing.
She looked at Fred, her mouth shut, waiting for a reply.

She thought about Sod, then Kimiko.
She looked in the distance, Kimiko and Sekura were completely gone.
She then just laid back on the pavement, with noone else there.

Fred sighed.
"If I were you. I would've already killed him."
He lowered his eyes, not bothering to wish he had taken back his words.
"Yes.. Slitting their throats is an effective way for both silence and quickness."
He smirked, though it was the wrong time to probably smile.
"Thanks.. Police are a bit dumb."
He rolled his eyes.
"Always suggesting a terrorist did it."
He coughed.
"There could be ordinary people behind it too."
He lay down beside her, arms above his head, staring at the North star.
"I guess I'm just begging to be killed."

"Don't say that!" Pinka said, staring at the north star. [Did you see the north star in france? It's beautiful there.]
"Your like Burke and Hare -- BOTH of them!" Pinka giggled. [I love Burke and HAre. o=]
Pinka sighed, staring up.
"Do you like this school? Are you going here again tomorrow?" Was the only words Pinka splurted out.
"..Do you have a home?" Pinka said, sitting up and looking at Fred again, seriously. She checked her curly Pink hair, and sighed in relief. The rain didn't attack it. It just made it curly at the ends even more.
Pinka seemed alittle rude there. She blushed suddenly.
"I didn't mean that in you know, a mean way.." She said.

Fred felt the rain hit his forehead through his curls. He didn't mind. He listened to her, looking confused.
"Burke and huh??"
He asked her, never hearing of them, since he rarely watched TV.
He smirked.
"Maybe.. But I lost my dignity and pride there."
He shrugged.
"Aaand. I do. Just that'.. I never go there."
He sighed.
"I'll say whatever I please."
He joked, sitting up next to her and poking her in the side.
(I did see the North star! Very bright. And Orian's belt and the Big Dipper.)

Pinka smirked,
"Burke and Hare were very infamous throat-cutters." Pinka smiled.
Pinka got up.
"I better go back to my house." Pinka said, smiling.
She waved to Fred, and stoof up properly, combing her hair and dusting herself.
"See you in school tomorrow?" Pinka said, as Fred nodded.
Pinka had never smiled so much in her life.
As Pinka approached the door, Sod was asleep on her sofa.
Pinka crept through, and made it to her bed without Little Miss Angry spotting her.
She soon slept.
She woke up, soon enough and kicked the duvet cover off of her and got dressed.

She tied her hair up in a sleek black ribbon, and put on a Purple dress that fell to her knees, that had a sleek black bow at the black of her purple dress. The Purple dress actually had a strap, with a Black top underneath it. [No, not a bra. LOL]

She had fish-net fingerless gloves, and black stockings about 6cm up from her ankle. She was wearing Black pumps. She had her usual gleam in her Pink sparkly eyes, and yet again her Curled Pink Hair.

She added a hint of blush, and set off to school.

Add put in alittle skull clip as she reached the gate of her school, Pete following her.

"Hiii Pinka!" He said.
Pinka rolled her eyes, walking onto the play-ground and sitting down.

Fred nodded.. But he stayed there all night.. Until the morning, when he trooped home.
"Where h..Have you been?"
His mother sheepishly asked him.
Fred shrugged.
"Okay."
She quietly said, head peaking out from behind the sofa.
Fred brushed his teeth and changed into a red, plain, shirt, got another penknife, put on black jeans and black converse.
He sniffed, then left the house again.
He spotted Pinka, Pete, Kimmi, Sek, and Munt.
Fred immediately glared at Munt, then exchanged smiles with Sekura, Kimmi, and Sek.
He sat down beside them all.
"Hey, how are you guys?"
He eyed Pete.
"Shall I get rid of him for you?"
He asked Pinka, hand feeling for the knife in his pocket.

Pinka smirked.
"No fear." She said.
She slowly walked over to Pete.
"Hi." She whispered in his ear, her rosey scented breath tickling his face.
"hiii." He said, falling to the ground.
"Ok. He needs to be more stable." Fred said, staring at him.
"He is a real disgrace." Kimmi said, staring at him.
"Though he is prety funny." Kim said.
Pinka smirked.
The bell rung as almost everyone spilled into the hall-way.
Pinka walked in, and went into History.
Fred, Pete and Kimmi trailed after her.
Sek and Munt went into english.

The teacher, Miss. Gravest started talking, her grey bun and big red-rimmed glasses on her pale white nose. She wore a cream coloured cardigan round her waist, clutched a ruler in her hand, and always wore blouses and long brown skirts.

"Today, Blah blab blalalalb." Miss. Gravest said, Pinka had no interest at all.
Pinka suddenly sat up, as her eyes widened.
"Blah Bla bla Blahbla Bla bla bla blahblahbla-- 9/11 Twin-towers 2001." Miss. Gravest said.

Another tear rolled down Pinka's cheek as she began to cry quietly. She had a flashback.

"Mummy?" Pinka said.
*Screams, then a crash*
"MUMMY!" Pinka wept, her mum crashed into the pavement as the man walked along, the man that crushed her.

Pinka wept.

"Pinka! It was 7 years ago!" Miss. Gravest said.
"Get out if you must weep!" Miss said.
There were giggles of everyone.

Pinka had a serious face.

She got up from her desk and left.

Fred suddenly remembered something his dad had said about the twin towers.
"I was on my way to work. You were too young to understand, Fred, but the twin towers were ablaze, people screaming.. The smell of burning flesh.. Then, in front of me, a lady fell out of no where.. I couldn't help her.. She was injured. I could see.. But I stepped on her as I passed. A girl was crying. It couldn't be helped.
Fred sighed.
His father sounded horrible then..
Fred watched Pinka leave, anger filling him for the teacher.. He would stab her.. He made a note to.
Fred wanted to leave after her, but he stayed, not wanting to seem like he was upset too.

[I have to do short posts so that my parents don't know im up.]

Pinka paced the white floored hall-ways of her school.
She sighed, and sat down on a bench.
She opened her,
"True fairy tale story" book.
It was too boring though.

Pinka sighed. She wrote in her journal.

Little Miss Sunshine

Randomly, slammed her book shut and forced a smile. She got out her old hall-pass and walked up and down the hall. She stood in the play-ground as the bell voilently rung and students spilled out.

Sekura sighed as she drummed - yet again - on her desk, eyes glaring only at the chalkboard. English was really too easy for her.
The bandage on her right thigh was replaced with a white wrap that seemed barely noticable. It was annoying to her, though. Every now and then she'd get sharp pains in her wound like it kept happening over and over again, causing her to loose her balance and for Munt to catch her.

Munt sat silently in the chair next to her, his attention full on Sekura in worry.

Fred looked around for Sekura and Munt.
He found them sitting on a bench.
"Hey.. Just going to find Kim and Pink."
He looked around the playground, spotting Kim instantly.
She still thought him suspicious, but he still tried to be nice.
He let Kim sit with the others, Pete coming out.
He tried to force Pete to sit down, but he also seemed to be looking for her.
Fred spotted Pinka and he managed a smile.
He jogged after her and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Hey Pinks. You okay?"
He asked her, face suddenly sympathetic.
"I guess it really gets to you.."
He sighed.

Sekura swung her legs, chewing on the corner of her cheek. Munt had his arm around her shoulders as he sat slumped next to her. Sekura pressed the weight of her palms on the sides off the bench out of pure boredome.
She pursed her lips and nodded to Fred. Munt gave no sign that he knew Fred even existed.
Sekura watched Fred run to Pink, not bothering to move and bother their just-started conversation. Though she did wonder when Fred actually wanted his other knife back. She had snook it out of Ron's backpack and put it in her jacket pocket, putting it in a small leather sheathe that she had baught the night before.
The irises of Sekura's dark emerald eyes were rimmed with a very visable black, giving her eyes a more exotic look than usual. Munt's sea-blue eyes were a bit lighter.
Out of the corners of Sekura and Munt's eyes, a black shadow swifted by, causing them to look in their direction at the same time, eyes wide in alert. Munt tensed and lightly putting some grip on Sekura's right shoulder in a protective way.
Their eyes looked focused and intense, as if they were more than ready for something to jump out at them.
Sekura seemed more lost than Munt was, a bit more distant while Munt's eyes locked where he saw it.
They didn't seem to be breathing anymore as the blocked out the world around them to focus on the shadow they both had seen at the same time, that was now gone since it was seen.
Sekura blinked, and Munt tightened his grip.

Pinka sighed.
"I guess. I really am trying for it to not get to me." Pinka said.
"You probally are sick of me by now." Pinka said, going over to a bench and sitting down.
Before poor Fred could sit down, Pete ran to the bench, tripped over and lunged to where Pinka was sitting.
Pinka looked at Pete and stared.
"You never stop trying." Pinka said, checking if her `curled pink hair` had it's usual flick.
Pinka nodded at Sekura, then Kim.
Kim walked over to Sekura, took the knife and threw it at Pinka, Pinka caught it.
"I can trust you, Fred." Pinka said, with no motion.

Little Miss Sunshine

Pinka smiled alittle again.
"Here." Pinka said, presenting his knife from her pocket.
"We- I trust you Fred." Pinka said, as Fred nodded greatfully.
Fred kind of took in air, and slowly put it in his pocket.
"Here, Kimmi and Sekura have one." Pinka said, getting out the spare bracelet.
Kimmi walked over to Pete, chatting about how much a saddo he is, while Don came over.
Pinka paused, and wrapped this bracelet around Fred's hand, The bracelet was like a rose quartz colour but in blue, the rinestones beautifully shimmering, a light blue [all the colours of the forums blue -- except for the red. xD]
Pinka's wrist already had one.
"It's the trust bracelet, and the friendship one. [LOL I almost spelt it: frendshep [I wasn'y thinking.] xD]" Pinka said, no smile on her face to see his reaction.
Pinka then sat down inbetweenKim and Pete, Pushing Pete so that there was a gap next to her.
Pete obiedently stayed in his space, as Kimmi giggled.

Sekura jerked her head to the right when the knife was taken from her, she pressed her side close to Munt and let out a loud snarl, a green flash appearing in her eyes.
Munt snapped his head at Sekura with a shocked look on his face, then took a double-take where they were both looking, then wrapped both of his arms protectively around Sekura, looking at Kim with warning in his eyes.
Sekura froze, looking at Kim. She gave an apologetic look to her, as did Munt.
Sekura looked at Pinka, then Fred, feeling her bracelet around her right wrist.
Munt had his chin ontop of Sekura's head. He moved to kiss the top of Sekura's head, and Sekura loosened her grip on the bench she sat on, and Munt loosened his arms around Sekura.
Sekura and Munt let out a quiet gasp and snapped their heads back to a tree, where they had seen yet another shadow.
Munt took Sekura's hand and pulled her off of the bench, taking her toward the bench.
He let go and they both walked in different directions around the large tree, scanning it up and down.
Sekura froze, eyes widening, her breath caught up as she looked at a certain spot of the tree, her heart jumping in backflips.
She let out a loud scream that was immediately muffled by her hands as she took a step back, tears forming in her eyes as she began to collapse.
Munt zoomed behind Sekura and caught her, wrapping his arms around Sekura's shoulders and pressing his lips on the back of Sekura's head, trying to shush her and calm her down. He looked in comfusion where Sekura had looked, then crouched down onto the ground and held Sekura who was now sobbing in his chest.
"Sek . . . What happened? What's wrong?" He whispered, eyes narrowing.

(Sorry Kimmmmmmmmmmmm DX I was having a party yesterday :S)

Fred looked at his knife, narrowing his eyes.
"Wh...Huh? Oh nevermind."
He was so tired, from staying up all night, that he couldn't be bothered to ask questions.
He jumped as he saw Sekura and Munt react.
"What's up with you guys?"
And when they went somewhere, he gave up again.
He looked at the bracelet around his wrist, blinking in an almost confused way.
"This looks so girly."
He added under his breath, but he wore it, to make her happy.
Fred had never been exposed to this sort of friendship.. It seemed to.. Rather scare him.
He didn't know if HE could trust THEM!
Fred ran a hand through his curls and he looked at his knife again.
Fred looked at Pete, almost scowling.
"Wait a sec."
He eyed Sekura and Munt. What were they doing??
Walking around a tree...Hmm...
When Sekura screamed, he grabbed that timing to grab hold of the front of Pete's shirt, pull him up and drag him, unwillingly, behind some enourmous bins.
"What are you doing??"
Pete yelled as Fred held him against the green recycle bin, knife in his mouth.
Fred took it out with his other hand and he put his face near to Pete's.
"You're a guy, right?"
He asked him in a dangerous tone of voice.. Dark and deep.
Pete nodded three times, eyeing him furiously.
"Then WHY take orders from a chick who's:
A. Never likely to hurt you.
B. WANTING to gain someone like you to make as a servant."
Fred sighed, shaking his head.
"Make my death quick and painless."
Pete suddenly cried.
Fred's eyes suddenly snapped back to Pete's eyes, locking on them. he was sizing Pete up. pete shrank as far back as he could.
"Death? Now how did that come into this?"
He asked simply.
"Well...Err.. You're holding a knife."
Fred pretended to look shocked.
"Oh! So I am. Okay. Fine. You asked for it!"
"Wait.. I didn't mean it!"
Pete cried.
But instead of slitting him across the throat, Fred stabbed him in the leg.
Pete cried out and Fred dropped him, pulling out his knife and sliding it in his pocket.
"Hopefully that's a lesson you'll learn from a VERY wise guy."
Pete lay on the floor, moaning.
Fred ran off back to pinka, smiling.
"I've just been.. To the toilets."
He saw a bloodied handprint on one of the bins and he swallowed.
