Book 5, Forget Myself

Nikki looked up at Newt, her face shoing a worried expression. "Fine. You want me to prove it?" She reached up and kissed Newt on the lips, soft warm lips touching Newt's. This would last about 5 seconds until she removed her lips and layed her head back on the ground, looking up blankly at Newt.

newt gasped slightly after the kiss... It was.. Oddly pleasing.. He knew he couldn't be Jake.. Jake would've killed him by now..
Newt got off her and lay on the floor beside her, features softened, colour brang back slightly to his face. Arms were above his head, eyes staring unblinkingly at the ceiling, mouth firmly closed.
All the time he sighed slightly, heart pounding.
That was the best kiss forveer.. Even though it only lasted for a few seconds.
He said nothing, did nothing and just stared at the ceiling,
Charlie was still engrossed on the books.

Nikki sighed, "Thanks." She said in a calm tone as she leaned on her elbows.

Newt narrowed his eyes.
"I tasted the blood."
He said quietly.
"I tasted the blood."
he repeated, but a little louder.
Newt gwt up, hand covering mouth as he ran out of the room, to the bathroom, probably to wash his mouth out with mouthwash and have a little throw up in the toilet.
Charlie's eyes widened.
"BLOOD?!"
He shrieked, which caused Amy to begin to cry from upstairs.

Nikki's eyes widened, "Damnit." She whispered under her breath as she sat up and blinked, then followed Newt up, face flushed white as she walked to Newt, grimacing before speaking in embarassment. "Eh . . . Sorry . . . . First time bite . . . . Forgot about it."

Newt was now brushing his teeth.
"Completely... Fine."
He said, spitting it out.
He had already sprayed his mouthspray in his mouth and sued mouthwash.
He gulped before facing her.
"Zeke's blood.. Right?"
He said, fearing that he had just tasted a little part of Zeke in his mouth.
Newt stedied himself by clinging onto the sink, eyes widened, bottom lip trembling, nostrils flaring.

Nikki bit her lip, giving a sorry look as she nodded slowly. She felt small, slightly suspecting someone yelling, though wasn't sure if Newt would.

Instead of yelling, Newt lost his grip and fainted clean away, nightmares confirmed.
Charlie had gone to calm Amy down.
He knew for a fact Amy had a crush on him so he hadn't been at all surprised at Amy playing with her Barbie and Ken dolls.

Newt lay sprawled out on the floor.

Nikki grimaced again, color forming back on her face as she immediately picked New up and set him on his bed, putting a cool, wet handtowel on Newt's forehead.
She sat on the foot of Newt's bed, waiting patiently for Newt to wake up.

Nikki hated this.
She hadn't wanted to be a Vampire in teh first place.
Though where was the master?
She sighed quietly in frustration, closing her eyes slightly to try to sense where he was.

Newt woke up in a few minute's time.
He took the cool towel off, feeling a little too cool.
"Ok......Ok....."
He did deep breathing exercise.
"I'm calm.. I'm cool."
He sighed.
"I can trust you would have my blood.. It's too sweet. Like me."
He joked, winking.
newt was his old self.
But he stayed in the bed.

Nikki kept her position, blinking every once in a while. She bit her lip the whole time, hands folded on her lap.
She then smiled, "I can be controlled now . . ."

"What do you mean?"
He asked, gulping once before continuing, as if the taste of blood was still in his mouth.
He sighed and stared at her for a good long time before staring out the window at the trees tapping against it.
