Book 8: Music is the Victim

Nikki continued driving, "Shut up Newt." She sighed again, eyes glued to the road.
Then, something caught her eye.
A black shadow swooped to the right next to the car. She looked at it curiously.
Then, she exhailed like an animal in fear. Her heart skipping beats.
Nikki turned her attention back to the road, looking around cautiously.

Newt blinked, seeing the shadow from the corner of his eye.
"Probably just a bird."
He said, yawning.
Ron was asleep in the back, like a little child, quietly.
Until newt looked back.
"OH...MY...GOD...... WHERE'S RON?!!!"
And sure enough, Ron was gone from where he was. No where to be seen in the car.
"Keep driving Nikki. He's probably playing a prank."
Newt said loudly as if Ron could hear.
But really. Ron had been kidnapped by the guys that kidnapped Newt ages ago.
All that was left in the back was Ron's beanie hat.
At the same time, Newt and Nikki's doors were wrenched open by this shadow.
Newt was safe as his seatbelt was done.
"STOP THE CAR!"
He yelled over the roaring of the wind.

Nikki screamed and immediately slammed on the breaks. The Van protested, and turned. Nikki went to grab her seatbelt, forgetting to put it on earlier, but it was too late. Her head hit the roof of the car and was ejected from the side. Her eyes darted about in confusion, it was going by too fast.
Her heart skipped many beats as the car flipped rapidly, her landing on some glass from the door, blood seeping around the glass. Nikki yelped loudly in pain as she bounched and hit the ground, the impact shaking her body.
The van was still as it sat on it's side, Nikki lay sprawled in the grass by the empty highway. Her eyes darted about from multiple shadows ran around her and the Van. She gasped, eyes wide in pain, though didn't dare say a thing.
Then, she saw one of the men holding Ron right next to her.
Ron was awake, eyes wide in freight.
She reached up, gasping. "Put . . . Him . . . . Down."

Newt had no breath to scream with.
He wa sbleeding much worse than Nikki.
He was still seatbelted into the car, lying onto his side, unconcious, splattered and drenched in his own blood, glass in his hair and on his face, smoke billowing out of the car.

Ron struggled, looking at Nikki.
Unseen, the guy was digging a dagger into the dead centre of his back.
Any sudden movements and the dagger would hurt him..Surely.
He could already feel the point.
"I am achieving something. I am Newt's father's work friend. Well.. We ALL are. He told me of you guys. Especially you.. Nikki. Hand the albums over. No one gets hurt. Apart from ginger here."
Ron was trying hard not to breathe, the blood draining from his face. His heart pounded in his chest as he panicked, not daring to move.
His thoughts were clouded with pure fear.
He couldn't speak.
Ron felt the dagger pressing into his back, feeling hot blood dripping down his back. It was a small pin prick.
He tried to give looks to Nikki, but failed a she saw another guy move behind Nikki, attempting to grab ehr too. Ron dared to scream out.
"HE'S BEHIND YOU!"
In return he got his stab in the back. Pain instantly flowed through his back and he fell to the floor with a shuddering breath.
the guy just laughed and pulled him up again.
Ron thrashed about, causing himself to loose more blood.
But it was too late.
The guy wrapped an arm around his neck and stabbed him.
Ron let out a death wail as he fell to the floor, the dagger pushing into his heart.
"Niii.......Kki......."
He managed to whisper with the little strength he had.
Ron tried to desperately stay alive as he lay there on his back, the man heading for Nikki.

Nikki's heart stopped as she saw Ron. Black tears forming and rolling down her cheaks, eyes all silver and gold. She shook her head, "RON!!!" She squinted her eyes as she tried lifting herself up, "NO!!!" She sobbed, she clung to Ron like he was her lifeline.
She looked up, anger in her eyes, "You bastard!! He had nothing to do with this! Why the hell would you want those goddamn photos anyway!? Newt's dad is dead! I killed him earlier this day! Why would you still wan-" She shook her head, black tears forming a pool on the now wet grass. She sobbed as she hugged Ron slightly tight.
Then turned to the other man behind her, "Don't you dare lay a hand on me or Ron."
The man walked toward her, and emerald flames formed around the two. "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU BOTH!" she stood up, leaving a forcfield around Ron. The Emerald flame around her grew.


Queen of the living, sister of the dead, niece of the evil, daughter of the good. Life of the damned. Heart of the heavens This was all Nikki seemed she was now as she turned into Sekura, black marks like an Egyptian comming from the outer sides of her eyes, black half-cresent marks from her eyebrows, circling under her eyesockets where the bone was and ending at her nose. She wore an emerald-green tanktop, showing her stomache, with dark green swirls in the middle. Golden lining. She wore a skirt that went down to her ankles. A cut from her left thigh slanted down, underneath a short skirt. Her ankles held golden braclets, along with her arms. Her stomache held a black design across her belly button and from hip to him. Dark emerald eyes locked on the two who had walked side-by side. Long, black, wavy hair danced from the air that swirled around her. Nyon-green energy balls formed on her hands that were out at her sides, dark-green Egyptian markings forming on her arms and legs. The cuts and bruises stayed as she stood there, seeming invincable. The golden necklace now the grass-green lace chocker with the dark emerald stone in the middle, glowing in power around her neck.

Ron tried to hard to get a hand on the dagger and pull.
He cried out in pain and he threw it to the floor. It was covered in his blood.
Ron knew he would die. He couldn't think clearly. The pain was starting to numb. Ron's mind was cloudy. His breathing was shaky and rattly.
And in his blue eyes, as he watched Nikki transform into Sekura, he thought she looked beautiful.
And with that last thought, his mind began to fade into darkness, his bodily functions began to switch themselves off and cease to work. Ron stopped breathing and his heart stopped beating as slow as it was.
And he faded as if into a sleep, his eyes closed.
If anyone were to look, they would only think he were asleep or unconcious.
The dagger was still in his hand, covered completely in his own blood, from tip to hilt, the forcefield still protecting him. But who would steal a dead body of a teenager?
He looked so peaceful, pale as he was with his blood spilt around him.

The once Nikki but now Sekura looked at Ron's lifeless body. Black tears burning on her cheaks. She looked at the two which lay dead on the floor from her flames that engulfed their bodies, handing them no mercy.
The flames were gone, all that was left was black mist that covered her body, black eyes staring emotionless at Ron, then at the burning van. She lifted a hand, levitating Newt out of the van and onto the ground, then collapsed herself, her blood comming from her back in the same spot Ron's was.
Sekura reached a hand out at Ron, draining her health into his, and trying to heal him as best she could, wanting to revive him. Her flesh felt cool, though burned herself as she tried reviving him, losing way too much power herself.
The green markings on her skin glew, her eyes going gold and dark-emerald, tan skin seeming warm, yet cold texture on Ron's forehead.

Newt slowly stirred, blinking.
He couldn't talk. All he did was cough.
Newt felt the pain and knew he couldn't move.
He blinked back the tears of pain and looked at the other two from his angle, eyes narrowed.
He saw Ron.... Looking dead.
Newt felt stiff.
But then he realised something.
Ron's face was regaining slight colour.. A slight glow to his face.
But then suddenly.. It disapeared........ Leaving his face pale and cold again.
Newt then saw Nikki, she was unconcious, yet almost reaching out to Ron..
Newt had seen the dead bodies of the henchmen. Nikki's doing.. As they were hidden by green flames.
Newt suddenly felt someone trip over himself.
Newt groaned out in pain, not able to move still.
The person fell down onto their hands and knees, panting.
It was...
RON!
Ron looked at Newt and widened his eyes.
"N..Newt? You don't look so good....."
He then looked at Nikki and gasped, crawling over to her, almost lunging himself on her.
"SEKURA! SEKURA! Are you ok?!!"
He asked her desprately, hands on her shoulders, shaking them until she would regain conciousness.
But then he stopped and knelt beside Newt.
"I'll fix this in a jiffy."
He said, putting his hand in his back pocket.
But he patted it repeatedly, eyes wide.
"It's not there!"
He said in a nervous voice.
Ron got up and folded his arms across his chest.
"Newt. Stay right there.."
He said.
"i think I left it in the--"
"Car....."
Ron said, staring at the flaming reck.

Sekura felt like she was falling, wind blowing her hair infront of her, unable to see though thick darkness. She could sence stone and dirt nearby, causing her hand to reach up, then a sudden jolt slightly awoke her. It was a semi-dream, though the jolt felt like the impact of her landing, causing her to yelp in pain, then seeing Newt infront of her, shaking her.
"Newwt." She whispered and growled. Cold sweat formed on her forehead.
Her hand flipped over her face. "Blood." She whispered in a weak tone, vampiric teeth hiddin behind her hand.

Newt widened his eyes.
"Oh..... Sorry.... I erm.... Forgot..."
He whiped his hands on his shirt and looked at his legs.
"I can't really move. Just grope at the ground. Ron is fine and hyperactive. Acting wierd."
He admitted, moaning in pain.
"But I guess you can sort things out."
He said, looking at Nikki.
"Can't you?"
Suddenly Ron ran beside them.
"Come on. We have no way to get to newtcastle and we're hopelessly injured. Well. apart from me."
He seemed to've forgotten he was dead. Or pretty much anything that happened before.
He sighed.
"If I had my wand we could've teleported there."

Sekura lifted her right hand, and something flew to her in the darkness- Ron's wand. She set it down next to her, then turned her face away. "I'd get down." Her voice was clear as just then the van exploaded, seeming that the flames from the car had gotten to the gas.

Ron knelt down just in time, but a cloud of smoke made him and Newt cough.
Ron's eyes widened in surprise and he greedily took the wand.
"OH THANKS!"
He said, grinning.
"Now... You guys.. If you're willing to ermm... Risk splinching then grab hold of an arm.
As they did so he murmered somehting like the exact place Hermione lived.
In a few seconds of dizzyness they had arrived on the doorstep of a beautiful cottage.

Yet old...
Ron swore in pin as he revealed his fingers..
Each one had no nail.
"Everyone else ok?"
He asked.
Newt was ok, yet still bleeding with a long broken and Nikki looked alright. Apart from being tired and slightly injured.

Sekura hissed and immediately appeared laying in the shadows, squinting her eyes shut. "Damn," she swore under her breath, healing herself. She looked at her blood for a minute, then took a finger and scooped it up, turning away to drink a bit, then walked out of the shadows in a long brown skirt, tan tanktop, and cloth boots. Her long black hair was still in waves, halfway down her back as she walked toward the two and healed them. Then snapped her fingers, the luggage and backpack appearing beside the two. She smiled a bit.

Alyson sighed, looking down at her feet; at the pavement as she walked stone by stone up to Newt's house. she took a deep breath, stood forward and knocked on Newt's door.

Newt smiled and so did Ron.
They thanked her.
newt took his brief case and the albums.
Ron just took his beanie and pulled it over his head.
"Uhm.. Ok. Who knocks?"
He asked, looking rather small and shy.
"I will."
Newt said, noticing Nikki lick the blood before he began to trudge up to the door.

Meanwhile.

Newt's mum opened the door, she looked panick-stricken and her mascara had been running terribly.
"Oh.. Hello.... If you're looking for Newt. He's not in... He's no where to be found, and neither is his father. I fear the worst so the police are out looking for them!"
She sniffed.
"Come in, come in."

Sekura blinked a bit, then gave an apologetic look to Newt. 'either that or I burn.' She blinked a few times, looking the opposite from the sun. Otherwise she seemed perfectly normal.
She looked down as she followed the two up the stairs, hands folded infront of her.

Newt got to the wooden door and knocked on it.
There was no reply at first, but then they heard footsteps heading for the door.
The wooden door slowly opened to reveal a thin and beautious lady.
She had brown curls falling to her shoulders, brown wide eyes. She had fair soft, pale skin and she had some makeup on.
This woman wore a blue gypsy skirt and a white vestop with sandals. She was of middling height
She seemed to narrow her eyes.
"What can I do you for?"
She asked, hands on hips.
Ron was shy and he went behind Newt.
Newt smirked, but turned to Nikki, waiting for her to explain.

Sekura looked up at the woman, a warm smile appearing on her face, "Hello, Hermione. Your memory may come back to you when I introduce . . . Ourselves." She guestured to Newt, "This is Newt." Then to Ron, "Of course, Ron." She then folded her hands infront of her, "And I'm Sekura . . . That gray fox that lurked around Hogwarts while you were a student there."

Hermione seemed to blink, her face blank.
But then she beamed a smile and bounded up to Ron, flinging her arms around his neck.
Ron was surprised by this. But he blushed and hugged her back.
"Oh Ron! I thought you were dead! WE all heard it on the news! Me, Rose and Hugo. They are my children."
Ron blinked.
"Oh well.. I was.... But...... Yeah.. Long story."
Hermione narrowed her eyes.
"You used magic? Oh Ron! Now really. Using magic!"
She tutted, and let go of Ron after several affectionate kisses on the cheek.
Hermione didn't look aged either. Just more womanly shaped.
"Ron. You are unchanged! If only I could be...."
She sighed.
"Anyway. Nice to meet you Newt."
She shook his hand.
"And you.. Sekura.. I saw you often at Hogwarts... Lurking about!"
SHe shook Sekura's hand, smiling.
"Animagus are you? I am one too. I teach at Hogwarts. It remains under Dumbledore's power. Yet we rarely see him. Always off."
She smiled.
"I do insist you come in. Hugo and Rose are at Hogwarts. They are in their sixth year. Twins."
